I heard that Kirk's were supposed to have the best burgers in town, but I was unimpressed. The burger was pretty dry and just not that exciting.

Good, not great 9/18/2009

Read other reviews on this place and an article. Doesn't look like much on the inside, could have been any restaurant. Thought with the history, it would look more diner-like or something interesting. Anyway, got two cheeseburgers and fries. Burger was just okay, expected something more flavorful and juicy. Granted you get your own condiment bar but I'm a boring burger topper so I expect the meat to really stand out. Fries are breaded and fried which adds an extra crisp texture. Glad we had a $5 off coupon tho; otherwise a tad out of the way for us. May stop by if in the area but not on my top ten burgers. Pros: Fast Cons: Dingy place more

Kirk's is a classic burger joint. Good food, casual atmosphere. My kid's love their splitters! Their milkshakes are real too! Prices a bit high for burgers but like I said it is good food. Always friendly and plenty of parking. more

Too Much Hype 7/26/2006

Kind of dingey interior. After hearing about this place I guess I expected more. Seems a bit run-down. Decent food, but I've had better. We won't go back any time soon. more

Fried Food Heaven 8/17/2002

The burgers are chargrilled & very tasty - the fried ""munchers"" are yummy onion straws - fries (frunchers) are not that good though. Atmosphere is grimy, but food is very good if you like grease ! Pros: good burger, can smell grill Cons: grimy dining area more
