Kim's Tailors is an excellent business that has been around for almost 40 years at Valley West Mall. My family and I have been going to him for as long as I can remember. I am never disappointed with his work. He knows how to fix any problem and can finish the tailoring in less than a week. I have brought in a variety of different fabrics such as denim and leather and I never leave disappointed. Because I am only 5'1, I always went to Mr. Kim to get my dresses altered for the high school formals and never looked like it was touched. If you want a high quality tailor with reasonable prices and an impressive reputation, I would highly recommend Kim's Tailors! more

Amazing job done 11/5/2010

I took my wedding dress there along with my 5 out of 6 bridesmaids and Mr. Kim did a wonderful job! My wedding dress was bought in a sample sale so he basically needed to make it a completely different size. I was apprehensive because he only requested one fitting but the end result was that it fit me like a glove! He was professional and friendly. One of my bridesmaids took her dress somewhere else and they ended up doing a botched job which ended in her dress ripping at the zipper. Mr. Kim was able to do a rush job a couple days before the wedding and she was so relieved everything worked out! All of my bridesmaids were excited about the end result and I would highly recommend you take your stuff there if you want quality work. more

Highly recommended tailor 11/8/2008

Kim's Tailor always does a wonderful job on my alterations. I would recommend going here if you would like quality work done to your clothes. I have been taking my alterations here for over 10 years and have always been satisfied with them. more

Dishonest business practices 10/16/2008

I took a dress in to have minor alterations done. He quoted me $55, which I thought seemed quite high. I checked around with other tailors and was quoted $20 - 25 for the same work. When I went to get my dress back from Mr. Kim less than one day later, he refused to give me my dress back unless I paid $10 ""for the fitting."" He hadn't started working on it and the ""fitting"" took approximately 20 seconds of his time. I will never recommend this tailor to any of my friends. I would recommend Jung's or Vang's instead. more
