DON'T BUY A CAR FROM KIMBALL 7/1/2011

I bought a new vw from Kimball 5 months ago, and i have holes appearing in the seats and carpet. Can not get the service dept to call me back.And that includes Matt the service manager. It seems once they have your money you are on your own. I have to keep calling VW of America to get things handled. I should have listened to others who had problems with the service dept. This seems to be the way they do business at Kimball and that is pretty bad in this economy. I will NEVER buy another car from them. more

typical lying used car dealers 8/23/2010

Bought a used Escalade a month ago and 10 miles down the road on my way home warning lights started going off. The car did not have the factory tire pressure sensors. All the dash lights were going off and the cars screens will show nothing else. Asked them to install something stock on this vehicle that their paperwork says it includes and they told me to shove it,the vehicle was sold as is. I even asked if there is a way just to shut off the warning lights and forget the sensors I don't need them and they told me no. Very disappointing customer service. They were nice till I gave them the money. Seems like fraud more

horrible customer service in the service department 6/23/2009

I was charged for ""diagnosis"" of a problem that I told them I had. They confirmed problem and informed I would be charged to settle it even though car is under warrenty. I understand that I may be responsible for the charges but their customer service was the worst I have ever seen. I was given the silent treatment, and none of my concerns were addressed. It was bad enough for me to take the time to write this complaint and I have never done that before. Pros: easy to get an appointment Cons: Disasterous customer service and overcharge more

Don't go here 1/9/2009

Took my car in to get fixed. Was quoted one price over the phone to check out my car, then when I got to the shop, the price suddenly doubled. Holding them to their original price, got a call that they were unable to figure it out in the 30 minutes I paid for and needed to spend an additional 2 hours just seeing where the problem is. Finally got a call only to find out it was a very simple fix and any mechanic worth anything would have discovered this within 15 minutes. The part was under 15.00 yet the bill was over 200.00. Pros: Eager to get their hands on my car Cons: Eager to rip me off more
