Kid's Body Shop

The party rules are ridiculous!! Parents have to sign a waiver to go into the gym but they are not counted in the numbers of the party. I don't have a problem with that at all. The problem I have is that you have to have all babies strapped in a carrier of some sort at all times BUT YOU ALSO HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT BABY TO BE THERE FROM BIRTH UP TO AGE 18!!! So taking a 1 month old that will be in a car seat carrier during the entire party will cost $10 if you go over the amount of kids they have allotted!! A waiver can be signed so if an adult gets hurt they are not responsible, but a waiver can not be signed for an infant sleeping in a car seat that isn't even able to do ANYTHING at the party. This place seems more money hungry then having good customer service. I even suggested that if the rule the baby is removed from the carrier then the baby has to be paid for, but if they follow the rules and are never taken out why do you have to pay for an infant strapped in a car seat? I was told because it is their policy, which doesn't answer the question. I took my kids here when they were young but I would never suggest this place to anyone ever again. Totally ridiculous and uncalled for. more

Kid's Body shop is a gymnastic school for preschooler. Classes usually last an hour once a week for the little ones, and they are taught basic gymnastics skills. It is a very good way for them to work on balance and coordination, even if they aren't destined for Olympic Gold! The staff is supportive and very good with kids and my little girl absolutely loved going to her classes. When they reach first grade, if they are still interested in pursuing gymnastics as a sport, there is a school for bigger kids in the same building! The cost is not too expensive, either which is nice. Kid's Body Shop also hosts children's birthday parties, which is a great benefit for moms like me who shudder at the thought of having one at my house! :) more

My daughter took two years of gymnastics at Kids Body Shop when she was a preschooler and she just loved it. The teachers were very caring and helpful, and the children were rewarded with ribbons as they gained skills. My daughter had a really good time there. She was given a very good foundation in Gymnastics that we were able to continue when she moved next door, to Omega School of Gymnastics with the "big kids." more
