Terrible service on my last trip in. The mechanical problem was not diagnosed correctly, unreasonable charges and the car wasn't ever fixed. The Owner was unwilling to stand behin...

Dishonest 6/10/2009

We brought our car to this shop to have the brakes fixed. After leaving the shop we noticed that the brakes were squeeking. We informed the shop and were told to drive on it for 100 miles. After doing this and still having the brakes squeek, we returned to the shop, and we were told to give it another 100 miles. We gave it 200 more and the brakes still squeeked. We returned to the shop and were told they would fix the problem. About a week after this the front end of the car began shaking every time the brakes were pressed. We returned once again to the shop were we were greeted with rude service and told that it was our driving habits that caused this and there was nothing they could do!! We took the car to another shop and it was fixed immediately and we have had no further problems. more

Very bad service! 6/10/2009

I brought in my car to repair a coolant leak - after $1800+ the problem was not fixed, however, I was told that they fixed several other leaks. On the follow up visit I was told I would have to pay an additional $700 to repair the problem and that they would not discount the charge for the fact that they never actually fixed the problem the first time (They also charged me $320 for repairs replacement of a serpentine belt, after I told them not to replace as I had the repair completed about 10,000 mile previous which would not be refunded or other.) - Based on my experience I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for an ethical mechanic. more

Terrible 5/30/2009

I brought a bike in, and when they finished it was broken. I rode the bike there, and now it's junk because of them. They even charged me $50 because they had to deal with "dangerous materials". I will never go there again, and I strongly recommend NOT going there. more

Kevin Kees is Great! 6/12/2007

I use Kevin Kees on Vernon Ave in Edina. He also has a spot in St.Louis Park on Excelsior and Hwy 100. I have taken several of my vehicle to him with very good success. I'm not sure how "cheap" he is but I feel like I get honest and fair service. I suppose he is more affordable since he does not pad his bill with un-needed work. I have used him for these vehicles: Jeeps (3 models), Chrysler mini-van and PT Cruiser, Land Rover (he has a specialist with these at his SLP location), Dodge Ram truck and my Corvette. I trust his work and I am not afraid to send my friends to him. more
