Usually complainers bring problems with them. Hardworking people who make a difference in this world are grateful for a decent place to live and easy access to a decent day's wages. Christle and the office staff are working very diligently to turn things around. Kudos and ignore the dumb stuff. There are no free rides or handouts in this life. Get over your complaints already or buy a one way plane ticket to an under developed country, and see how bad life can really get. Complainers are deterrents to positive change. There is a lot of funding put into the aesthetics and upkeep of Kensington Commons. Besides, there are other complexes out there. Look in the mirror and for once give something positive to your community and stop whining.. more

I have never felt such a high level of disrespect from ANYONE in my life. Crystal is ruthless and inconsiderate ! I paid my rent on the 1st, three days later I had an eviction notice. The money was already gone from my account so I was furious. I went into the office demanding answers and Crystal proclaimed she accidentally applied my rent to someone else's account. WTF ?!? How do you misplace $800.00 in rent money. IDIOTS ! Please take it from me, I have 4 months left then I am outta here !!! more

I FINALLY WENT TO MEET WITH THE STAFF AT THE OFFICE, AND FOUND FOR MYSELF THEY ARE VERY PERSONABLE (BUT NO NONSENSE PEOPLE, WHICH I PREFER) WHO HAVE THE TENANTS' BEST INTERESTS AT HEART. I AM SO SORRY FOR WRITING A PREMATURE REVIEW, AND I ASK FOR THE STAFF AT KENSINGTON COMMONS TO PLEASE ACCEPT MY SINCERE, HUMBLE APOLOGIES. PEOPLE, BEFORE YOU MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID, GO SEE FOR YOURSELVES; TALK WITH THE STAFF: TALK WITH OTHER TENANTS WHO LIVE THERE! I ONLY LIVED HERE FOR ONE YEAR ALTHOUGH MANANGMENT DID CHANGE THEY WAS ALWAYS NICE TO ME. I HAD A PROBLEM WITH A NEIGHBOR AND CALLED THE OFFICE AND THEY TOOK CARE OF IT. I ALSO HAD A BIRD STUCK IN THE VENT AND THEY TOOK CARE OF THAT TOO. I ALSO WON THE HALF OFF RENT I THOUGHT IT WAS A JOKE UNTIL I WON. SO FEEL OUT THOSE SLIPS!!!!!!! more

My family and I have lived here now for almost 3 years. For the 1st year and a half or so I still loved it. Yes, the rent is pricey but I liked the area and the schools. The management was good and helpful. Then a little over a year ago new management took over and the place has gone downhill. They decided to put up a gate, which rarely ever works and when it does, it is pointless. Once it is opened everyone can follow the first car in. People go out the in and in the out. Waste of money. The parking lot flooded horribly and stayed flooded for a couple weeks. When I went in to ask them about it the lady in the office was trying to be ""cute"" by pretending she didn't know what I was talking about. Then she said ""contact the city, it is their problem"" WTF?!?! Next day channel 6 was out to do a report on it. They ""fixed"" the problem by putting gravel in the water so we could drive over it. Contrary to what another person said on here, pizza places do deliver. There is a Donatos in the shopping center across from the complex that delivers and papa johns will deliver too. I know because we ordered pizza often. They are always finding something new to fine you over. They limit what you can put on your balcony. Can not have a grill, bike, etc... on the balcony/patio. Plants have to be removed NO LATER than October 1st. Can not have flags of any kind on your balcony/patio. The old management allowed these things. They also allowed satellite dishes... not these jack a****. You MUST get Insight if you want cable. All in all, I can not wait to get out of this place. more

Out of all the communities I have ever lived in , Kensington was the absolute worst. The 'gates' on their community , people wait for others to exit to fly through or they wait for someone with access to go in. GATES SERVE NO PURPOSE but you having to wait for others in front to go in. They are disgustingly overpriced and every day waking up I regretted living there. The manager will 'cuss you out' she has NO sense of customer service and is quite frankly the worst manager I have ever seen run a company. With her as manager, it is clear how things are around the community. Severe severe flooding in which they tow cars DAILY just for you to be 'cussed out' about your car being towed and for you to call the towing company. Its unsafe as they are on the news frequently due to RAPE just 2 weeks ago. Some man cut the screen and raped a DEAF elderly lady. NO PIZZA PLACES WILL DELIVER TO KENSINGTON COMMONS! The keep the club house looking nice but once you drive onto the property, it speaks for itself. You would think the management would just CONSIDER being nice to the resident and CLEANING UP THAT DUMP OF A COMMUNITY, HOWEVER, ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS YOUR MONEY! Worst community I have ever lived in and I am simply taking the time to inform anyone inquiring. Just drive through and see for youself. The youth around there has no parental supervision and they throw rocks at cars and homes. NOT JOKING ! Disgusting place. more

We have lived here for about a year and a half. It was a nice place to live until management switched over. Don't be fooled by the ""Under New Management"" sign. The new manager is awful and a poor excuse of a human being. more

I live here for a while and to say the current management is hard to deal with would be an understatement. Grossly overpriced for the area, there are much nicer apartment complexes (even across gender road) that are much cheaper and the management is easier to deal with. If your looking for an apartment in the canal winchester area I would recommend you keep looking and pass this place by more

I wish there were an option for negative stars because this is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. Management isn't just picky, they are down right anal and money hungry. Not only are they over priced for the area, which is awful and drug infested, but they will do anything for a dollar. If you like rules and regulations this is the place for you! If you want to feel like your living in communist prision camp come get your application! My car was recently towed for ""double parking."" Let's talk about double parking real quick, every day I come home from work with my two year old daughter I am forced to park on the opposite side of the lot no where close to my actual apartment. I think there should be a driving test for anyone purchasing an SUV or luxury vehicle because they DO NOT know how to stay in between the lines. My drug dealing neighbors NEVER sleep and are constantly fighting but who can blame her boyfriend when she has random men in and out of her apartment. That doesn't stop them about making complaints or parking in a handicap spots on a weekly basis. The management even had the audacity to blame me for the latter. more

Where to start worst area to live in, drugs are everywhere. My neighbors sit in front of my door and smoke pot and use other various drugs. There were several major drug busts one involving swat and cocaine and a Mexican drug ring. Crime beyond theft and break- ins. I personally had property stolen. Staff is terrible. No maintenance. The property is out of money. They will let anyone live here. Many people who live there are terrible, recently a child was murdered by his step dad, it made the front page of the Dispatch. there were a few issues within the place like cleanliness but it looks nice. The mangement is very picky and that was irritating. It took maintenance forever to come. Alot of spiders also.
