Went to the Kansas Speedway for the first tme this spring. We got there early only to have to walk a mile and a half up hill to get in. Found our $125.00 seats to find an aluminum bench that was hard as a rock. Went to get something to eat hotdogs $4..00 bottle of pop $4.00 Hamburger $6.00 beer 1 can $7.00 what a rip off. Couldnt hear the anouncer couldnt tell why the caution flag came out couldnt see the back streach. I'll never go again. I,ll watch it on TV. I wont have a sore back sore legs or sore ass and I wont spend $50.00 on food that should have cost $10.00. more

Kansas Speedway 12/30/2005

Kansas Speedway is so cool if you can get tickets to go and see some of the races. Make sure and bring your ear plugs because it is real noisy. The tickets are real expensive and the parking is free. It is so neat watching these guy race a the high speeds that they do. They also have a lot of meet and greets which is fun because you can meet some of the top drivers in nascar. This is something you have to try at least once. more

It really is fun! 12/20/2005

I've never been a NASCAR fan, but last October my in-laws came down for the big race and talked us into going. I can't believe how much fun it was! The seating arena is great... you have a great view no matter where you sit! The food vendors are good too and there is plenty of shopping in the area to keep a gal happy! We'll be going back! more

Roar of the crowd, Roar of the Engines 8/15/2005

One of the very few NASCAR tracks in the Midwestern area, also one of the newer tracks that NASCAR had built. This one and a half mile track is a sheer adrenaline rush. Watching your favorite driver as they come around the track is like nothing else. Nice thing about the Kansas Speedway is they don't charge to park (Unlike most sporting events in the area). That is likely to save you about $18 (In comparison to Chiefs parking). They also host various meet and greets of different drivers all through the week before the Busch and Nextel race. You can get autographs of various drivers and see the cars up-close. throughout the year the track host various races and also has the driving experiences where you can pay to drive an actual race car. If you didn't get tickets and just want to watch the cars and see the track, you can spend $10 and watch the time trials and the practices. more

Kansas Speedway is Fun 7/27/2005

The Kansas Speedway is one of Kansas City’s new attractions. This huge raceway can hold lots of people. If you are bored one day, this is something to do. If you can stand the noise. It is so loud. The prices aren’t too horrible, so it can be affordable. It would be fun to tailgate although I have never tried that. It is located near Nebraska Furniture Mart and Cabela’s 3 Stars. more
