Best in South Baltimore 5/11/2010

Me and my wife have been eating at John's for years and the food is our favorite. Their pizza is unbelievable with fresh and substantial toppings and their subs are decent too. Nice for delivery or eat in (pleasant atmosphere). Highly recommended.. Pros: great pizza and subs Cons: a little pricey, but worth it more

Cheese Steak Sub - French Fries with Gravy - Italian Cold Cut - The bread they use on their roles is the best. I can take my Cheese Steak home, re-heat it and it still does not fall apart. Pros: I love the food, it is always great Cons: I have gained 10 pounds this year more

Great food...if order is right. 7/13/2006

John's has a great selection of food that is usually very good. But, I suggest that if you would like to try it to eat in. They never seem to get carry out orders right. I am talking about forgetting to put the cheese on a CHEESE steak! I have ordered carry out about four times so far and it never fails. One time I got a grilled chicken sandwhich with BBQ sause. Well I ended up with a piece of chicken on a roll and nothing else. If you dine in then any mistakes can be easily fixed! Pros: Great Food Cons: Limited Parking, and carry out orders are always wrong! more

Best Italian COLD CUTS 5/15/2004

John's has been a favorite of the Baltimore Highlands,Lansdowne area for years. The best seller is the Italian Cold Cut. On a 8 in. fresh Italian roll.The Italian seasoning is home made. A must try! Also has home made soups,meat balls,and salads,crab cakes. Just a few small tables for seating,with food this good, carry out. You must try out John's!!! Pros: great food, fast service, right on Annapolis Rd Cons: , not the best parking, crowed more
