I have been going to Joe's for the past 8 years and I absolutely love it. The fattoush, the corn beef, the cookies, the list goes on are all fabulous. Its definitely worth the wait. A very nice place with friendly staff and good homestyle food. A huge selection of specialties, all very well made, and readily accustomed to your special wishes and needs. Portions are generous, desserts are awesome, and price range is very reasonable. Once you get through the waiting list, you usually don't have to wait for the food too long. The corned beef is delicious, portobello mushroom sandwich, teriyaki chicken dinner, french fries. That is what I tried. The platters are huge. The other entrees I witnessed coming out looked great, especially salads. The desserts make my eyes pop out. Always a small wait however, but good things are worth waiting for. Corned beef is good. The rest of the meats at the deli are absolute garbage. The desserts are NOT made in-house. Nice looking, but very bland. Servers are rude. Certainly not worth the long wait for being seated. more

Joe's has the best matzo ball soup but everything else is fabulous too. Try their corned beef stacked higher than any one's. They stack it higher than you would even at home. Also, try the frenched cut pork chops too. To date, everything has been the greatest. Also, if you like deserts, take a slice of pie or cake home with you. There won't be any room after you eat lunch. Or, go just for deserts. It sure beats Max's Deli for deserts. Joe's makes them on the premises and they look terrific. This by far Clevelands Best Kept Secret! The Food is home cooking at it's best, the desserts are to die for, the service is awesome and all for a very fair affordable price. I am used to fine dining and ridiculous pricing and I was blown away with this very busy but laid back restaraunt! This place will please anybody pallete young or old, rich or poor, it can't be beat. Guys we need you on the east side We have been driving there to eat at least once a month for the last 2 years from the far east side. Although there is always at least a 20-40 min wait for a table they have an incredible cheese spread & crackers tray in the waiting area to accomadate you! I have been going to Joe's for about 7 years and I have never been disappointed. The food is always tastes and looks excellent! I have brought friends here from New York and they said, ""This is what a corned beef sandwich is supposed to look like!!"" It is a very friendly place. Prices are very reasonable. They could definitely use a larger waiting area...its always PACKED! But it is worth the wait!! more

Breakfast is fabulous - try the homemade hash. The German Dumpling soup on Saturdays makes the weekend even better. more

Go BEFORE you get hungry. Everyone on the west side will be waiting in line. Their soups are special: I love th German Dumpling & everyone else loves the Matza Ball. Grilled Chicken Tenderloins are excellent and anything smeared with Joe's superb garlic mayonaise is worth time away from friends& family for fresh breath recovery! Every incarnation of Corned Beef is HUGE and all other portions are very generous. You may starve by the time you're seated, but you'll leave a little larger and satisfied. They have REAL mashed potatoes ! The best thing about the staff at Joe's is that they're really nice to Grandma even though their food is only ALMOST as good as what comes out of her kitchen.
