We always eat here when we come to Hilo because the prices are low and the food is good. It never gets too crowded here during lunch so the service is great and you get your food...

We always eat here when we come to Hilo because the prices are low and the food is good. It never gets too crowded here during lunch so the service is great and you get your food fast. The menu includes typical local dishes such as saimin, chicken katsu, teriyaki beef, etc. You can order ozen style (Japanese style) for a small additional charge. The restaurant looks a little worn down. more

Affordable 8/5/2005

I have eaten here several times with family and friends for lunch. The restaurant is old and it shows, but the food is delicious and the menu is varied. The menu consists of chicken and meat entrees, sandwiches, and asian meals such as ozen style meals, saimen, chicken katsu, beef teriaki, etc. The owners pretty much run the restaurant so there are not a lot of waitstaff. The prices are very reasonable. more
