Jim Spelman Studios is a 2,000 square foot drive-in studio that is now conveniently located in the Chicago/Rockford area at Riverside & Perryville in Loves Park, IL, just off Interstate 90.
About Jim-
Jim Spelman, born and raised in Rockford, ventured to London in 1997 where he built an international advertising and photography business. He is back in his native homeland utilizing his unique worldwide photographic vision by continuing to create exquisite beauty, fashion, portrait, art, and commercial images. He is proud to be operating his new 2,000 square foot drive-in studio in the Rockford/Chicago area, where London meets the Midwest.
A message from Jim-
Each portrait I photograph contains over 15 years photography experience including all of my worldwide portrait, beauty, and fashion experience. I include my unlimited creativity in all of my images. So you may be wondering, why travel from Milan, Paris, New York and London back to the Midwest? No matter where I am at in the world - whether it's shooting high fashion in London or shooting beauty products in my studio in Rockford, it's all about people, light, relationships, and capturing once-in-a-lifetime moments. Also, I am a family man with a special needs 8 year old boy and I moved back to the Chicago area for the support of family and friends. Quite simply, I am home doing what I love best.
