the last time that i went to interlaken, it was greatly in need of some remodeling. it was like it was straight out of the 70's and much of it needed some major updating. all the chairs were this old dark leather and dark wood. the rooms were well appointed, but the lobbies and lounges were in need of some new furniture. i have heard that they are in the process of updating and remodeling most of the resort, but i cant pass judgement any better than this until i see the results.
