Hot Spot Tan

After deciding to cancel my membership, I was first told to write a letter to a PO Box. After this failed to cancel, I went in person and was told that mailing a letter was not proper protocol and that Mr. Paul Hughes (owner) would be in touch with me within 24 hours. Never received a call. Again went in person and was given Paul's cell phone number and also his wife's number after the salesperson informed me that MANY people have this problem. Neither Paul nor Carolyn will return calls. Billing company is still attempting to bill my card and is charging fees since my credit card company is no longer accepting their charges. \r \r There have been multiple Better Business Complaints on this company for this exact issue so it is uncanny that hotspottan would respond to the previous review stating that he/she has no idea of any billing issue. more

Benn going there for years. My daughter moved out of town and cancelled her account it was done quickly and professionally. Never any problems there , owners and workers are very nice and friendly more

I do not know who you are or why you are writing this mess about us! You submitted your comment annomously. I am unaware of anyone having a billing problem with Hot Spot Tan. We have been in business for over 8 years and take pride in how we treat our customers. If this is a legitamate complaint I am totally unaware of it and I do not know how to contact you other than through this web page! Do you sense a RUN AROUND? \r This was been going on since October of 08'. When we spoke with the owners of Hot Spot Tan to cancel, they told us we needed to contact Affiliated Acceptance Corporation, their credit card processing company. When we called Affiliated Acceptance Corporation, they told us we needed to cancel thru Hot Spot Tan.\r \r Since then, we have sent 3 letters of cancellation to Hot Spot Tan(the owners gave us a P.O. Box so we can't send the letters certified) been on numerous calls with Affiliated Acceptance Corporation and the owners of Hot Spot but we are still being charged a monthly membership. \r \r We do not recommend this establishment to anyone!!!\r \r I'm ready to meet with the owners in person.\r \r We will post a conclusion if we ever get this resolved. \r \r Pros: They bill you every month even if you cancel!
