I like my wings on the mild side and here, If you order mild they serve you plain pieces of fried chicken with no sauce. Those are called wing dings. Most of the average sports bars have much better wings. Pros: Cold beer Cons: bad food more

When ever they have a poll for the towns best wings hooters wins. In my opinion they are right around the worst. The sauce is decent. They should take the extra effort and cut off those annoying wing tips. Also you can still see what is left over of the feathers on the wings, gross. Pros: women Cons: food. more

They Call that Food? 11/14/2002

Burgers are mushy, service was subpar. I went there once, my friend asked for the chicken wings, all drumsticks which require an extra $1 charge which is no problem. He got a mixed batch though which didn't upset him, he pointed out the mistake when he was served the wings but the waitress refused to drop the extra $1 off the tab. After a 15 minute argument the $1 charge was dropped. Beer was fresh though. more

Editorial

  • In Short
Waitresses in shiny tan nylons and tight, orange, '70s track shorts serve up beer and pub grub at this proudly "tacky yet unrefined" sports bar-restaurant. Tables are packed with men of all ages, from high-powered suits to college guys in baseball caps. While salads, sandwiches and shellfish are on the menu, most folks order chicken wings--available in six levels of spice intensity, from mild to super-hot 911.
