This place was recommended by a friend. This was a huge favor. We've been going to them for around a decade without a single problem. They have huge repeat business and have been stable forever.
Here's what I like about them:
I call and they tell me if they're busy, so when I bring the car, I already know that they'll be able to work on it. They take a look at it and tell me what's wrong, how much it's going to cost, and how long it's going to take.
And it's all accurate.
They're fast.
Their repairs have always been done right the first time.
They never go around looking for stuff that could be fixed but doesn't need to be fixed.
They give an honest assessment of things that can be lived with vs things that must be fixed.
A couple of examples: I had someone tear off my right mirror. Went to the dealer and was horrified by the price. Went to C&M and got it fixed with a new part for 1/3 the cost.
Had my Accord gear shift lever start sticking in park. I managed to get it going and then decided half way in to work that I really should get if fixed so that I don't get stuck somewhere. So I pull off the road and call them from my cell. They know right what the problem is, tell me that they have time for me. I drive it over there and I'm back on the road in 15 mins.
Broke my Accord seat. Dealer told me it would take $2000 to repair it. C&M found me a used seat all the way out in California and installed it for something like $400 or so (can't remember the exact cost). It took a while to find it, but, hey, I saved $1600.
This shop has been so good to us over the years that we pretty much only buy Honda now just because we have this place to take them that we trust.
Pros: I've been going to these guys for a decade.
