I have been coming to Dr. Honda's office for 18 years. I can always count on efficient, friendly, and highly qualified people to ensure my eye care needs have been met. I am very happy with the doctor, his staff, facility, and services. The facility offers the latest in eye exam equipment with capabilities to see what I cannot and sometimes do not know should be examined. However, Dr. Honda fully explains the service(s), the outcome(s), the option(s), the recommended choice(s), as well as the reasoning behind each one. Dr. Honda's knowledge and expertise in Optometry enables him to be current and precise in the care of my vision. His demeanor is that which encourages me to ask questions and be proactive. I have full confidence in the doctor's training, skills, and care. The customer service is quite competent, caring, and always helpful. Mary, the office manager, is wonderfully able to make my glasses complement meto fit me in a way that I feel comfortable wearing them and look good, too. She also finds the best way for billing so that my insurance pays the bulk of all my services. I have moved a few times during the years I have come to the Santa Ana location but I find the commute more than worth it when I consider the benefits of having healthy and well taken care of eyes. Dr. Honda's office provides caring and quality service that will keep me coming back for years to come. more

My experience at Dr. Mel Honda's office in Santa Ana could not have gone more smoothly. When I arrived, I hardly sat down before they took me to an exam room. Immediately Dr. Honda came in and asked several questions before doing the very thorough eye exam and glaucoma test. He doesn't rush the procedure and you know you're getting the absolute best care. more
