How lucky are we 4/12/2006

My wife and I found the Homestead Resort on the Sundance Web sight. We stayed there during the film festivale and had a great time. We were glad to be out of the crazy PC atmosphere. We brought some friends beck to the resort for dinner at Simon's restaurant and they wished they stayed there. From the front desk to the staff at both restaurants we were taken care of. And Wow the food and service at Simon's ws world class. We have been back just for a get a way once since. Pros: Quality of Service, Food, the crater Cons: Transportation to PC, lack of night life more

The Homestead 11/30/2004

This place is like everything you ever dreamed. In the winter there is nothing cozier than this old fashion winter wonderland that is bery upscale. In the summer there is so much to do, that you can't do anywhere else - yet the setting is so relaxing. The staff at this resort truly understand how to make you feel at home. From vacations and family reunions, to corporate meetings and get aways, I don't think I could find a better place to go. You are truly missing out if you skip The Homestead! Pros: EVERYTHING more

Condos at the Homestead 5/14/2003

After not staying at the Homestead for at least 6 years, our family went over Mother's day weekend. We had 5 people, so I rented a condo. It was lovely.......and if you divide up the cost between two families, or groups....it comes out to the price of a regular room. Clean lovely, View......very wonderful, very updated! Pros: double car garage, wonderful master suit, romantic Cons: heating system sucks, no extra garbage bags, more trash baskets more

amazing 10/28/2002

My husband and I have stayed at the Homestead twice in the last 3yrs, they have wonderful rooms, great romantic deals and Simons restaraunt is delicious. The customer service goes above and beyond all expectations. Pros: great service, great package deals more

A nice, quick getaway 7/23/2002

We stayed at the Homestead to take advantage of their summer specials. The complex is small, easily navigated by foot. Our room was clean and very comfortable- a good value for the price we paid. Simon's restaurant was surprising. I expected "hotel food" but were were treated to an inventive menu with some good values. Sunday brunch was quite ample. The only turn-off I had was when I saw the omelette guy eating at his station, then touching his utensils. When I made note of it to the waitress, she was visibly upset and took appropriate action. Expect great service here- they seem to pride themselves on it. Pros: nice scenery, good service, some good menu values more

  • The Scene
More than 100 years ago, this resort's mineral hot spring crater was its main attraction. Now, championship golf, tennis, horseback riding and 12,000 square feet of flexible conference space complement this natural wonder. You can enjoy the ultimate in modern resort luxury or travel back to a more leisurely era, when days were spent playing croquet, horseshoes and shuffleboard.

    The Details
Guest rooms, condominiums and homes come in an eclectic mix of sizes, although many are a bit on the tight side. Styles range dramatically, as well, from vintage Victorian to ranch. Executive suites and cottages boast their own outdoor entrances. Enjoy a steak fireside at Simon's Restaurant, or indulge in a massage or mineral bath at the resort's Aveda Concept Spa.
