Okay, yes, I know that Home Depot has really low prices, but if you were to factor in life time wasted while trying to get help or to check out, you are not saving a penny!
They routinely have only one cashier but if you don't want to wait for them you can, of course, use the self checkout stands. The wait in line is ridiculous. If you try to return something, again, you are waiting 20 to 30 minutes to get out of there. Also there are hardly ever any shopping carts at the front of the store, you have to hunt one down in the parking lot or snake one from someone when they aren't looking (just joking about the last part :) I also have a really hard time trying to get someone to help me. This happened to me numerous times. I thought that maybe it was just a bad day, but it wasn't so now I just don't waste my time there.
