I've been going here since I was 6 years old every year. I am now in my 30s. Great getaway for a weekend. Two large swimming pools, a private sixth floor with key access only. Meeting rooms are huge and they have lots. more

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights a few weeks ago while attending my Grandmothers funeral. They gave us a great rate for all 3 nights and even though an error occurred in their system they were able to extend our stay even when the hotel was over sold. I am forever thankfull of the HI Grand Island for all their hospitality and kind staff including Pasha and Laquita (SP?) at the front desk and everyone who went out of their way during a time of need. I will always cherish the memories I have had at the hotel with my Grandmother, when ever we came into town we always stayed here. WhenI am in this area again I will stay at this hotel, and from the bottom of my heart thank you to all the staff members who went out of their way during a time of need! more

Nice Place 7/21/2005

If you're looking for a nice place to getaway for the weekend that isn't too pricey and has a nice view, check out the Holiday Inn Grand Island. They have clean rooms, a decent restaurant, indoor pool, and it's not too pricey. It's a nice place for a couple to stay, right on the Niagara River. I think this place is a little too pricey for a family vacation. PROS: Right on the mighty Niagara River CONS: A little on the expensive side, depending on the season more
