Interesting Museum 8/15/2005

This Museum located on the capmus of Hofstra University is very interesting. They cover a wide range of topics from Long Island "Then & Now" to rare photographs and analysis of authors works of writing. This museum has recieved numberous awards for outstanding information, and if you are looking for a quick day of education on Long Islands history then you will definitly want to check out this museum. more

Want to get away from it all? Try the 40 foot stone labyrinth for meditation. There are 5 galleries here. Medias include sculpture, photography,prints and modern paintings. The exhibits change frequently. There are over 50 outdoor sculptures if the weather is nice and the campus is beautiful. Sometimes tours, films and lectures are available. more
