GREAT FOOD and WINE LIST 3/7/2008

*****Recently dined in the restaurant and loved it. FOOD, DRINKS, and best of all - ATMOSPHERE. What a refreshing change from the usual chain type settings. The experience was never rushed and we were encouraged to enjoy the moments and relax. My suggestion: try the beer brewed on-site. Great northwoods appeal. Pros: atmosphere, food, and beer Cons: higherend, but worth it! more

Stay away if you even have a modest appetite! 3/26/2007

Certainly this restaurant was a disappointment. As very experienced diners in high-end cuisine, both my significant other and I found this menu less than fulfilling. We both left the Hinterland feeling that we did not get enough to eat after spending over $150.00. I have a moderate appetite, and my significant other has an appetite that could be considered, ""dainty."" Pros: Good atmosphere Cons: Ridiculously small portions more

Try the happy hour upstairs in the lounge 2/21/2005

This 'brewpub' is a very upscale brick and exposed concrete environment that reminds me of a NYC loft. It's very chic and hip. It's also VERY expensive unless you grab the 1/2-price wood fired pizzas and $2.50 13-oz beers. Their beers are good yet mild. I prefer a strong robust ale and their ales are a bit softer on the palate. This is not a place to meet and mingle. It's a great place for a date and/or hanging with friends. more

a real treat 7/11/2004

The service, atmosphere, food and drinks are fantastic at Hinterland. After my first visit, I was so impressed that I took my friends from NYC and Seattle here next time they came to visit and they loved it as well. The manager is extremely knowledgable and patient and the food presentation and menu selections are truly unique and delightful! The lounge's decor was also appealing. I'm excited to try one of their wine dinners. I will be back! Pros: service, menu, atmosphere more

Don't miss this restaurant 6/26/2004

This place is amazing, how Green Bay ever lucked out I will never understand, they don't deserve this quality. Every thing was perfect, the quality of the microbrews, the food, the service, everything. The lounge is great as well, make sure to check it out. more
