Stay away from this practice!! They are HORRIBLE. We "stuck with it" for three years and have gotten terrible health care. They would make my husband schedule a separate appointment for every physical illness, i.e. an appointment for his hypertension, another for his diabetes, etc. Most doctors treat the "whole client" and will address all routine follow-up at one appointment. Not here! They want a separate appointment for each so they can charge several co-payments and get more reimbursement. I took my child who was coughing up green sputum and they told me it was a "virus" (Um, no it's not.) and to "come back if not better"........yet another co-pay and the child will not get "better" very soon without the needed antibiotics!! They are supposed to be treating the "family" but in their waiting room's "kids area" they have a dangerous armoire that is empty. Guess what that inspires kids to do? Jump in it and close themselves up. The only "toys" they have are a few old, broken plastic trucks. We politely suggested that they should get a small train table for the waiting room, which occupies kids of about every age and gender indefinately. Three years later, the same armoire and crappy trucks. I am a nurse, so I do know a FEW things. One thing I do know is that I will not be back. Oh and the clincher----when I took my sick child in, the nurse practitioner stated, "I hope everyone in the house washes their hands" and looked me up and down. Unbelievable! She should have just reinforced that good handwashing habits help avoid transmission of germs. (We are all GREAT handwashers, by the way!) She was VERY rude and inappropriate!! They staff and doctors are openly disdainful and arrogant. Everyone deserves better care than what I have seen here. Go somewhere else. We are changing to a pediatrician today and finding another physician for myself and hubby.
Pros: None
Cons: EVERYTHING!!! Healthcare is IMPORTANT--go ELSEWHERE!!
