Good food but lacks the character and friendly service of its original 10/3/2007

The food is good, the restaurant dressed up in a strange mix of country and 'The French Chef'. The service is good but the restaurant lacks the atmosphere and friendliness of its original Heuer's Store located off Hwy 63 at Harrisburg. Somehow the service and friendly staff and atmosphere make the drive to Harrisburg much more inviting and Hallsville's Heuer's only a last resort. more

Great place for family night 8/4/2005

Saturday night is family night for the little out of the way restaurant in Hallsville called Heuers. They have specials going on all the time, like buy one entree and get one of equal or lessor value for 1/2 price. Entrees $8.99 and up or each child eats free from children's menu with each paid adult. They are open everyday for breakfast. Great little place to eat. And is family operated and everyone in town meets there for their morning coffee and gossip. more
