One of my favorite Auburn Stores... 3/31/2006

Heartstrings is a great gift shop. They have a wide selection of items, from picture frames to baby items to Vera Bradley to greek items to monogrammable jewelry to Brighton and much more. One can almost always find a perfect gift, be it a birthday or Mother's Day or Bid Day. The staff is very helpful, and the prices are pretty reasonable. Parking can be difficult, and the store is pretty crowded with merchandise (and often people!). Regardless, it is still a favorite of mine. more

Great engraving 8/15/2005

Heartstrings is a great store, but it is very girly. It's perfect for gifts, or for giving yourself a little pick-me-up. I love them particularly for their engraved gifts. Make sure you ask because their catalog of engravables is much more extensive than their displayed items. They are quick and some engraving is included in the price. While many gifts at Heartstrings are expensive, their engraved gifts are very reasonable. more

Nice gift store 8/3/2005

I have always loved going into Heartstrings. Even if you don't need anything, it's a nice place to browse. They have a little of everything for women; purses, picture frames, jewelry, home items, baby things, Vera Bradley, Bags, candles.....you name it! They have gift shop prices, but you can expect that at most gift shops such as this. It is located right downdown in Auburn, on College Street! more

Beautiful Store 7/20/2005

This is one of my favorite spots in downtown Auburn near the campus. It's a gift shop that has really unique, high quality gifts at reasonable prices. It's spacious, clean, and well organized. They carry personalized items, and there's a large section of specialty bags. The upstairs carries items for sororities. The employees are friendly and polite. They do not have adequate parking, however, as it can be a challenge to find a space on College St, and it's metered parking. I recommend either parking elsewhere and walking, or bringing plenty of quarters for the meter, and patience. This is one of the few places on College that's truly worth the effort. more
