When I first came in, I had severe headaches that put a damper on my social life, energy levels and mental health. I tried different things like getting my eyes tested, allergy tested, bought a new mattress, and exercised and ate better, but nothing helped. The adjustments, exercises and stretches all really helped loosen and strengthen muscles. I also learned how to have a better posture and to relax my upper body; little changes really do make a big difference! Dr. Carlson really makes a plan for you that is specific to your needs and comfortable for you-financially and physically. Would I recommend HealthSource of Hugo to anyone? For years, I had knots and pain between my shoulder blades. The pain made it very hard for me to do my job as a nursing assistant with the bending and lifting of the patients. I kept taking ibeprophen for the pain and in the past had gone to other chiropractors, but none took the time to really diagnose and correct what was wrong. When I came to HealthSource, Dr. Carlson did a thorough exam and took the time to explain to me what the problems were, what his expectations were for my potential improvement, and what we needed to do to get there. After time of exercising and being adjusted, I feel 100% better; I have not experienced my pain or knots in-between the shoulder blades! I have referred many people to HealthSource of Hugo; He and the staff their have done a wonderful job for me. My advice is to take the time needed to improve and stop living with the pain if at all possible. more

I was getting a lot of neck pain and had headaches at least 2-3 times per week. I would try to work on my neck and shoulder muscles in an effort to get them to relax, but I would end up having to take Excedrin to get some relief. Once I got onto a schedule of adjustments, performing the exercises designed to strengthen the muscles for support in the adjusted areas, and having massage therapy to release trigger points and relax tight muscles, headaches happen now only about once a month! This is so amazing and so freeing! I would highly recommend HealthSource of Hugo to any and every one! Coming here had been one of the best things I’ve done for myself and my health! more
