Taking my vehicle in to have a $24 repair done they did their routine inspection to check for any other issues. They came back to me and stated the air filter needed to be replaced because it had a large hole in it. They also said I needed to change my oil. These were just a couple things that were easy to look into on my own. I just changed my oil not but one day before this and so all that was wrong. As for the air filter, I removed it after buying a new one and looked it over. There was no hole, it was just a little dirty. The lady working there was very angry with us when I told her we did not need to do any other work today, though she tried telling us how important it was to fix the air filter now. I think she was angry because she knew she lied to us to try and get a $75 service and parts fee to replace a stupid air filter. Horrible service given the wall in the waiting room points to their honest business, HA never going there again. Pros: None Cons: Dishonesty, Unethical more

BUYER BEWARE - NON DISCLOSURE 8/11/2009

My son just bought a car from Hastings Ford Lincoln and got to play the I'll go squeeze the managers arm game (which was time consuming and offensive - (do they really still think customer's don't know what they are doing? ). It was a used car, but the dealership personally guaranteed it was gone over by their mechanics and there was nothing to disclose about the car and that it was in perfect shape. We asked for a car fax but was told the Ford Report was just as honorable. It was a rental car and the accident that the car was involved in was not reported to car fax or was it on the Ford report. So who should have reported this accident? A different door was put on the drivers side and the paint used was not the same shade as the car and was not only on the door but was painted on the rear fenders as well The mechanic would have clearly know it was a different door than factory when the car was on the hoist. A reputable dealership should have added/updated the work done on the report and should have disclosed it to the buyer. This dealership was dishonest in disclosing that the car was in an accident. and had different door installed on it. They will not work with him to get it fixed and pretty much said "to bad for you".. I just really feel they were dishonest at disclosing there was indeed car damage to the car. They have lost our business and I hope other customers be very very cautious. Pros: NONE Cons: NON DISCLOSURE OF DAMAGES TO A CAR more
