Best

Harp is the best. Great beer, cozy atmosphere, and Willie is the man. Best bartender in the city! They recently updated their menu, too! Gotta get the fish & chips. YUM!

Worst

The Harp Irish Pub was okay, but I like to think that a real Irish pub would be alot better. My wife got the Shepard's Pie, which was completely unseasoned and tasteless. I got ...

Not awful, not amazing, overpriced 12/26/2007

The Harp Irish Pub was okay, but I like to think that a real Irish pub would be alot better. My wife got the Shepard's Pie, which was completely unseasoned and tasteless. I got the ""Irish stew,"" which was pretty good.. but at $10 a bowl it was way, way overpriced. Both items came with steamed vegetables that were watery, rubbery, and cold. The beer was good, but overpriced. Bottom line is that the food is too expensive and not good enough to be ""authentic"" or worth returning to. Pros: Good beer, good service Cons: Overpriced, bland, smokey more

Surprisingly, best wings in Roswell!! 3/28/2007

Best chicken wings in Roswell, hands down!! Good deal too for 10 or 20. Highly recommended. Fish and Chips are also very good, but that was expected. Pros: wings, atmosphhere, scary looking irish bartenders Cons: smoke, smoke, smoke, smoke and lastly smoke more

Harp 2 in John's Creek is great!!! 3/10/2007

Checked out the new Harp location on Medlock Bridge this week- totally different atmosphere. More of an open layout with a cool stacked stone fireplace- feels like home. Friendly staff and great food add to the experience- get some fish and chips and a pint, and sit back and watch the game!! Good place for lunch too- quick service and full menu. more

Fun, friendly Irish pub 10/19/2006

I love this little Irish pub tucked away in a shopping center in Roswell. It has a great atmosphere--the employees and the other patrons are always friendly. I usually get a black-and-tan and then order a dish off their menu. Pros: atmosphere, drinks Cons: not much more

Forget Fado! 8/2/2004

Best pint of Guinness in the City. You've got to try the Lamb Shanks! Pros: Friendly, great food, Great Service more

Love the Harp Bar 3/5/2003

What a wonderful place to eat and relax, the owners are friendly and want you to have a great dinning experience. This bar also caters to children, my nine year daughter loves this bar and is made to feel right at home. The Harp is a #1 in our books. You need to come eat at this bar more

The entertainment is unique! The smoke eaters need replacement. I love to eat, drink and to be entertained here. I just can't stand the smoke in my hair and clothes when I leave! Pros: great beverages, inexpensive, great entertainment Cons: smokey, smokey, smokey more

Irish Home...Abroad 11/11/2002

Where every one knows your name 10/11/2002

I love this place! When I lived in Alpharetta you could find me any given night sitting at the end of the bar chatting with Paudie or Willy -- and most definitely on the weekends for the live music! I've since moved 45 minutes away but still manage to follow the breadcrumbs back to my little Irish pub on a Friday or Saturday night to catch some tunes. Check out Josh Caldwell or David Irwin when they're playing, and you'll be sure to come back for more. Pros: Great owners & staff, Regulars, Acoustic music Cons: Crowded on weekends more

finally a REAL place to hang 10/9/2002

Fado's make look the part, but the Harp feels it. The crowd is friendly, the service is friendly and usually good, and the live acoustic music is great. The food ain't bad, either. Nice beer and ale selection, many on tap. On weekend nights it's usually SRO. Unfortunately when it's crowded, despite several interior changes, the acoustics make the place so loud you can't hear the music, your friends, or yourself. Be sure to drop by when a real Irish bartender, Willy, is working. Pros: feels Irish, friendly place, beer & ale selection Cons: noisy more

smell the BO 8/16/2002

After stopping in this bar for the first time for a pre party pint, next thing I know it is 3 hours later! My fiance & I had a great time. Food was pretty good, service was nice and the pints of Guinness were delicious! Danced on my tongue. We got to see irish dancers and of course the multi-talented Marty(of McDuff's fame) play his guitar and sing. I knew I was in a real (or as real as can get)irish bar when I struck up a conversation with an irish man and he smelled of BO. Ahhhh....brings me back to my many visits to the emerald isle. Pros: plenty of parking, food, good guinness Cons: kids more
