Best Ice cream Around! 12/29/2005

Handel's has the best ice cream around in my opinion! I think I have tried every flavor on their list and loved them all. Their ice cream is really creamy and full of flavor. Their Butter Pecan is loaded with Pecans as is the same with all the flovrs that have added items like strawberries or cherries-- every bite is loaded! Glad to see more and more of them opening up in the area! Not good for my belt line though. more

Gotta Have TheThin Mint! 10/12/2005

I don't think there is a Handel's flavor I have not liked but the Thin Mint is out of this world. When girl scout cookie time rolls around I make sure to get to Handel's and stock up up the Thin Mint ice cream since thats the only time they have it. The popularity of this place just keeps growning and growing! more

The Place is Awesome 5/17/2005

I have tried a lot of ice cream places and this one is by far the best. The company was started more than fifty years ago in Youngstown, Ohio and is still a local favorite. Handel's has been listed as some of the best ice cream on the travel channel and in "USA Today" among other. Additionally, celebrities such as Bill Cosby specifically request this ice cream when they are in town. more
