I paid Kevin Hamel of Hamel Construction of Fitchburg, MA a deposit ahead of a basement renovation project. Due to personal reasons, I had to cancel the job (well before he started the work). He agreed to return my deposit as he had not ordered anything for the job. Now, he does not answer my calls or return my messages and has not returned my deposit. I do not know why because I can't get in touch with him. DO NOT HIRE KEVIN HAMEL CONSTRUCTION OF FITCHBURG, MA. If you are looking for a contractor, it would be in your best interest to keep looking.
