Huge selection. 12/29/2005

Anyone who loves books needs to add Half Price Books to there list of frequent stops! They have a huge selection of paper and hard backs, it is well organized, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is usually very friendly. The only thing I haven't liked about this store is that they buy very few books, and don't give a very good price. If you are looking to buy books, check them out! more

Great places for books! I could spend all day in there. It’s a tiny place with a ton of books. There are rows upon rows of bargain books. They have a sidewalk sale (weather permitting) of 10 cent books! You can’t beat the prices for a used book store. Not a good place for text books though. more

great selection of used books 8/4/2005

Half Priced Books sells used books only, with maybe a new one thrown in once in a while. They have a decent selection, but it can be hard to find a book you're really looking for. Popular books seem to sell quickly. The people are friendly and always willing to help. The books are divided into sections such as fiction, classics, science fiction, etc. Fair prices--they can seem high sometimes for used books, but they're still cheaper than brand new. more
