I was told this is a Progressive Concierge Service shop, so I decided to call them with my progressive claim that had already been filed. I was told by Progressive that I can get whatever repaired on the estimate I wanted to at their shops and did NOT need to get the full list repaired, but could take it to whatever shop I wanted to. They issued my claim check to the lien holder and myself, which means the check had to be signed off by myself and my lien holder, OR taken to a concierge shop, i.e. Greg Porter's. Upon calling Greg's shop and speaking to a representative, I was told I would not be issued a return on any money from the Progressive check, even if the repairs did not equal the total on the check since they would have to ""pay taxes"".
I'll instead take my service else where and in the future warn people of taking their vehicle there.
