Best Meat Market 10/30/2011

This is the best place to buy meat and other products. Everytime I go I get great service and the quality of meat is perfection. I wouldn't shop anywhere else and highly suggest everyone to try it. more

Great... except for the fajitas! 7/26/2011

DO NOT buy the beef fajitas. We bought some a few weeks ago and grilled them up yesterday (kept them in the freezer in the meantime), and they were no doubt the WORST fajitas we've ever had... lots of fat, gristle, sinew... we tried to get through 4 fajitas and ended up throwing it all away. However, I must say we've shopped there for years with no complaints. Luckily, the great experience from past visits helps, if the fajitas were the first thing we'd ever had, I would never go back again. Great selection, good prices, just stay clear of the beef fajitas! more

Great Quality for the Price 6/8/2011

Purchased 22 lbs of meat recently between ribs, sausage and jalapeno sausage. Ribs were AMAZING and the sausage was great as well! Easily the best meat market I've ever been to. Keep on doing what you do. more

Me and my Husband have been going to this meat market for a long,long time and we love it,we drive from Austin all the time and wish that there were one in Austin.The only thing is he loves ox tails and wish that they were a little cheaper but we really wouldnt trade.Keep on keepin on. Keep to the Specialties 5/31/2010

I purchased a large amount of meat from Granzin's; and was disappointed in the quality of the Pork and Beef products. Pork chops, which were thick cut and looked very good, were flavorless and dry no matter how they were prepared. The ""country ribs"" were horrible; mostly bone, gristle, and fat. The New York steak was poorly marbled, fatty, and again lacked flavor. The peppered bacon was good but not any better than purchased in a chain store. Very good shrimp (very large), jerky, sausage, and other specialties, but their cut meats leave a lot to be desired. Pros: Shrimp, Jerky, Sausage Cons: Pork and Beef more

Still a kid at heart when it comes to dry sausage! :) 2/6/2009

I grew up in San Antonio, and my grandmother lived in New Braunfels. This place is SO amazing and still there! I live in MD now, and constantly asking my family who still lives in San Antonio to buy me some dry sausages! Once I get it, it disappears fast! :) Have no clue how long it has been there, but it was in a different location. So, where do I put a large order for the dry sausage? I even got some people here in MD hooked! It only takes one small bite and they LOVE it! Pros: CLEAN and WONDERFUL services! Cons: Not expanding the business to Maryland! more

Meat Heaven! 11/12/2007

Granzin's is that vanishing commodity...a real, honest-to-goodness meat market. On my recent visit the store was clean as a whistle. The staff was helpful, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The prices are great and the quality of the meat is outstanding. It's wonderful to be able to buy as much (or as little) of any item as you want, and not as much as Walmart thinks you should have! And, of course, it's nicely wrapped and ready for the freezer. It's a bit tricky to find, being tucked away behind a giant auto dealership, but your search will be amply rewarded. They have the best beef jerky I have ever had and I am the authority on beef jerky. The staff is very friendly, they are also very helpful. The meat market is AWESOME! Pros: Service, Selection Cons: Havent found any more

Best German Sausage in TX 1/21/2006
