Grandview Family Medicine was wonderful. My son was attending BYU from out of state and they were able to see him immediately, with little advance notice. Their prices are better than our own doctor and the staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. They are a great mixture of modern update-to-date health care combined with the personal attention of a private physician. Their family values are obvious in the way that they treat their clients. If I lived in Utah, they would be my first choice! more

I'm not a registered patient at the clinic, but members of my family are. I have accompanied them a handful of times and wanted to say how impressed I am with the medical and reception staff. Being welcomed by name and asking how other family members are doing really helps the ""family"" atmosphere of the clinic. more

The waiting times are ridiculous! I have seen Shelly and the PA and both of them just rush me out of the room as fast as possible. They do not take the time to talk to you. It is so uncomfortable. I will be looking for another doctor. more

I switched to Dr. Savage when I was 16 weeks pregnant because I was looking for someone who would make me feel comfortable and take their time to answer my questions. She was great throughout my whole pregnancy and is now my baby's pediatrician as well. I have paid LOTS of visits to this office and have a great experience each time, from the smiles I get from the receptionists when I walk in, to the good-byes from the staff as I leave. Last week my baby was sick and we saw Lisa Stubbs a couple different times. She really took her time with us and I appreciated how caring she and all of the medical assistants were and how much they did to help figure out what was wrong. As a new mom I was pretty worried about my daughter and it meant so much that the whole staff got involved and worried along with me. Love this office, I recommend them to all of my friends! more

We've been going here for over 3 years and had 2 babies delivered by the doctors here. Tonight we were turned away because they were ""too backed up"" to take any more patients, including regular patients. Unbelievable! My family will be finding a new more personal clinic for our needs. more

PA's are Awesome! 3/8/2012

Btjames, you are right that Physician Assistants are not doctors, but they do have a Master?s Degree, have passed state board exams, and have done extensive training just like doctors. My sister is a PA and is continually doing education to be Board Certified just like physicians, and she is brilliant. I am a patient at Grandview Family Medicine and my provider is a PA and she is awesome!! If you offend a PA you offend a doctor. Quit being offensive. more

My Family Clinic! 3/8/2012

My family and I have been going to this clinic for years. When I can?t get into see Dr. Savage I usually see her PA?s. Her PA?s do a great job. Lemonecy you must have caught them off on a bad weather day and someone tracked some mud in, because I have never seen their bathrooms dirty. We will continue to go to Grandview Family Medicine! more

Not impressed! 2/27/2012

I went to Grandview upon the referral of a friend. I wasn't able to see Dr. Savage as she was called out on an emergency so I saw her PA. Before she came in, I used the restroom. Both were dirty with patient urine samples out in the open. The floors were very dirty. To make a long story short, the PA made a mistake and I ended up having an uncessary procedure that I paid for with my time and money. I won't be going back. more

Awesome Clinic! 9/27/2011

I want to say that I am a frequent patient at Grandview Family Medicine and I have never heard them discuss other patients. Grandview Family Medicine has taken care of me, my husband, my children and my grandchildren. We have been very happy and love the doctors and staff. Thank you for doing a great job! more

best doctors in utah 9/23/2011

best doctors in utah try to remember PA's are not doctors. So don't ask for a doctor a get a doctor want a be. They charge the same. I think if you see a PA it should cost you less. I love Shelly but she has no time for me any more so I see Arron he has been very good to me and my family. Been a patient since they opened all my friends and co-workers i sent there were very dissatisfied and never went back after the first visit. They tell me I should go elsewhere. But I'm devoted and love the doctors there. more

Great Clinic 9/13/2011

My family and I are patients at Grandview Family Medicine and have had a terrific experience. We have been going to Grandview Family Medicine for the past 4 years. I recommend this clinic to all my friends, neighbors and family members. The doctors are great and so is the staff. They are very friendly and very competent. I usually don't write a review but our experience has been great and I want others to know. more

Really Disappointed. 3 Bad Experiences. 9/6/2011

My wife and I were Grandview patients for 8 years. We like the doctors just fine. There are a few reasons why we won't be going back. About a year ago, my wife needed some blood drawn for some tests. After having one of the Grandview nurses drew her blood, my wife reported that her arm had never throbbed and ached before after having blood drawn like it she was experiencing. My wife has had a lot of blood tests over the years. Anyway, the throbbing pains and aching continued for two weeks, and a huge bruise covered the underside of her elbow and significantly continued down her forearm almost to her hand. My wife called Grandview, and they told her that it was normal, that she probably didn't apply adequate pressure to her elbow after the shot. A couple of days later, my wife showed her elbow to two of our friends who are nurses. They both said that it wasn't normal, and said that whoever drew the blood probably went right throw the vein and essentially caused internal bleeding. They said it wasn't serious, but to watch it. The bruise lasted for 3 weeks. After talking to our friends, my wife called Grandview and updated them on the situation. The receptionist admitted that they had had a problem, and that they were doing everything they could with training to ensure that something like this didn't happen again. About 9 months after the first incident, my wife had to have some more blood work done. A different nurse took her blood, but my wife had the same exact results. She called again to express her frustration. The nurse on the line told her the same exact thing that she heard before from Grandview: ""You probably didn't put enough pressure on it after having your blood drawn."" Frustrated, my wife let it go, but will never return. 4 months or so ago, I had to go into Grandview. My doctor was out of town, so I saw the PA. She did not know what exactly was wrong, but she suggested doing some tests, including blood work. I was hesitant because of my wife's experience, but wanted to find out as soon as possible what was wrong. After having my blood drawn, I could not move my arm without pain for a week. Actually, for 3 days I just couldn't move it. I couldn't play basketball because it ached, felt stiff, and bending it was torture. To set up the image of what followed, I need to explain that I do not bruise. In fact, I tell people that it's my superhuman power because I just don't bruise. Suffice it to say, I had similar bruising for 2 weeks like my wife did. I broke my tailbone once from falling off of 3-foot rock ledge landing square on my tailbone on another rock, and I can tell you I did not bruise as bad in that accident as I did after having my blood drawn at Grandview. Upset, I called Grandview to tell them. The nurse then turned the conversation and said that it was my fault, that I probably did not apply enough pressure, that I overused my arm. I explained the other 2 incidents with my wife, but she said that she hadn't heard of any other patients experiencing similar problems. Calling to complain was an absolute waste of time. After 3 bad experience with Grandview, we won't be returning. We also think that $230 an office visit is excessive, especially if it results in an incompetent nurse drawing your blood and making a mistake. The doctors are nice, but their staff needs to be better trained. 3 consecutive mistakes is unacceptable, and not being willing to partially refund a botched service is also unacceptable. Go elsewhere if you need blood-work done. more
