The Blue Water Center for Christian Counseling, P.C. was established to provide professional counseling for individuals and families in the Blue Water Area. Counseling at the Center is provided from a Christian perspective, which gives opportunity for individuals to integrate their faith in God into the treatment process.
The Blue Water Center for Christian Counseling, P.C. recognizes that the family unit is the most important institution in our society today. It is within the healthy family system that a child's personality is molded and the adult is able to have his/her basic needs met. We recognize that the pressures of today's society have placed tremendous strain on the family unit resulting in much confusion, pain and uncertainty in the lives of children and adults alike.
The Center is organized to provide help in three major categories: recovery, enrichment, and prevention.. We recognize that there is a normal grief process that follows any major loss in our lives. Individual and group counseling sessions are available to assist persons going through these various stages.
Grief and divorce recovery support groups for adults and children seek to provide Christian love and encouragement for those whose family is in crisis.
Individual counseling provides a safe environment where one's private pain can be shared in confidence with a trained therapist. When negative memories prohibit an individual from enjoying a satisfying life,issues in one's family of origin will be explored to understand the past and seek to establish a new identity.
