The shop is roomy and bright, but the prices (a session fee of $6/hour per painter plus the price of each piece of pottery painted) are significantly higher than other paint-it-yourself pottery places I have been. They are often out-of-stock on the more popular plates, mugs, and tiles. They do not have the equipment for finer work (they just have brushes - no fine-tipped bottles for lettering, etc) and only stock basic paint (no specialty paints, like metallic or ""puffy"" paint). The staff is usually courteous and helpful, although they have not offered much coaching on technique. Be specific regarding pricing and terms when planning to take a group. They are closed on Mondays.
Pros: Bright rooms, kids love to paint
Cons: Expensive, not well supplied
