I had my wedding hair and make up done at Glamour Therapy by the lovely and talented Natalie. I scheduled a trial a few days before and we tried several different styles out. During the process, she was very patient despite my uncertainty about exactly what I wanted. On the day of, she worked with me until it looked just the way I wanted. When I started planning my wedding, I wasn't sure if I wanted to have my make-up professionally done. But I'm sure glad I did. My make-up looked flawless (but not fake) and it lasted all night. And the falsie lashes really made me feel glamourous. At my wedding, I received so many compliments about how beautiful I looked too! I can't recommend Nathalie and Glamour Therapy's services highly enough! more

I don't normally write reviews (in fact this is my first) but Natalie is that good! I was looking for someone to do my hair & makeup for me wedding in New Orleans and came across Glamour Therapy & found they do both. A total of 18 reviewsat the time and all rated 4-5 stars! You almost never see that. And it didn't matter if the reviewer was from New Orleans or not, they all rated Natalie highly. So I made an appointment with her. I called, left a message and they got back to me promptly. Now normally, they suggest a "trial run" for wedding hair but after I first had her do highlights and we got to know each other, she didn't think it would be necessary when I told her how I wanted my hair. I was surprised by that (and a little nervous) but she had done such a wonderful job with the highlights and she was so easy-going and comfortable to be with, that I trusted her judgement on it. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed!!!! She put my mid-back length hair into a side chignon beautifully with flowers and without any pictures!!! She did it all by my verbal description. She also did my makeup again perfectly. I like a naturalglamourous look and she did that without making me look like I was paineted. She has a website so I'll send the pictures there. I got constant compliments from everybody and I felt and looked so elegantly beautiful. If you are not from here but are planning on a special occasion in N'awlins', do not be afraid make an appointment blindly here because she and her staff are awesome!!! more

Coming from out of town I had to solely rely on reviews for everything from finding a hairstylist to resturants when choosing things for my recent wedding. I must say I couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out at Glamour Therapy. As my sister and niece told me "I looked like Miss America!" LOL!! All my bridesmaids and I were wondering if we could take the ladies home so they could do our hair and makeup everyday! Whether you are using them as your regular hairstylist or for a specail occasion you can't go wrong choosing Glamour Therapy! I loved it!!!! more

I'm obsessed with my hair. In an always-changing-my-mind kind of way. It's naturally wavy and pretty high-maintenance. And no one but Natalie at Glamour Therapy is allowed to touch it. She takes her time to figure what I really want and never fails to deliver. She's taken my hair from long to short, from dark brown to blonde to red, and back to long again. She understands my hair better than I do. more

I've always had extremely long hair (like near my bum long) and I've always been somewhat terrified of getting too much taken off and absolutely hating it. The Tuesday before my graduation, I scheduled a hair cut and dye with Natalie. I didn't know much about her or her salon except the reviews I read, but I needed the cut and dye along with the hairstyle and makeup for the graduation day, so I just went with her. When I got there, an immediate calm came over me. The Frank Sinatra and light blue walls definitely helped. I showed her the exact hairstyle I wanted for my graduation and I told her I wanted my haircut to work for the style: it was top priority. When the haircut and dye was over, seven inches had been taken off and my hair was significantly darker. To my surprise, I adored it. The day of graduation, my hairstyle was by far the best one there and I was told several times I looked like a movie star. Seriously, amazing hairstylist and really kind person. Natalie, I just wanted to tell you what an amazing job y'all did for the wedding last weekend. Looking through all the pictures everyone is beautiful. I made an appointment for the coming week but I still wasn't exactly sure which color to choose, but she made me feel very comfortable and helped me choose the exact shade I needed. I LOVE my new COLOR!!! Pros: She knew exactly what I wanted and the color is amazing! Cons: none more

I knew Natalie personally before she ever touched my hair, and now she's the only one i trust with my unruly curls. The salon is tiny and perfect, small without being cramped. If you're looking for a great stylist with high quality services in a boutique salon, Glamour Therapy is just what you need! Pros: Service, location, comfort level Cons: None! more

Natalie and her assisstant made my wedding day complete! She did a beautiful job on all of our hair and makeup!!! Her airbrush foundation can't be beat. It's a cute, personable salon and makeup shop in a great spot on Magazine Street. more

Natalie is an amazing artist for both your hair or makeup! She has cut my hair and done my makeup, she is FIVE STARS all the way! A small and very cute little Magazine Street salon makes you feel like you are in someone's home or hanging out with your best friend as she does your hair. She did an amazing job with my hair, she gave me a great layered hair cut that is fresh and hot if I do say so myself. When I walk out of her salon I always feel like Cinderella! She takes the time to make sure that you know how to take care of your hair and style it on your own. I owe her for introducing me to hot rollers too, the curls from roller add such volume to my hair. I have also had her do my makeup for a Mardi Gras Ball she is a great makeup artist as well. I know she does a lot of weddings so if you are in the market for a makeup artist for your wedding I would highly recommend her. I'm holding out hope that she will do my wedding someday! lol If you are local or just visiting New Orleans and looking to pamper yourself, I think you would really enjoy a visit to Natalie. I live in Dallas and just married in New Orleans on October 19. I found Natalie online and was immediately drawn to her style.....she does such creative things with hair and makeup for brides. I met her in July and did a test run with hair and make up. Her salon is super cute and easy to find and get to. I had her come to my hotel to do everyone's makeup and my hair on my wedding day. She was in touch, on time, and super fun and easy going. We all truly enjoyed her and looked great afterwards. She is THE person I would consider for your wedding if you are planning one. If I lived in NoLa, she would be the person I would go to for hair. I can't recommend her highly enough! Pros: very creative and professional Cons: none more

I was the maid of honor for one of my best friend's wedding and we still hadn't found a place for hair and makeup. The bride lives in Florida and I live in California so it was pretty difficult to gather vendors for makeup and hair. The wedding was last Friday 10/17th and I contacted her in late September. Yes, it was very last minute, but Natalie was very professional and helpful. She always returned my phone call/ e-mail within 24 hours. She also made every effort to accomadate our needs. She was also very friendly and unbelievably reasonable in price. After speaking to her a few times, I felt completely comfortable with putting my friend's wedding day makeup and hair into Natalie's hands. I confirmed the week of the wedding and there was no surprises. We arrived at the shop which is small and intimate (PERFECT FOR WHAT THE BRIDE AND I NEEDED)!! Natalie was there and ready to go. The bride was in dire need for some peace and quiet and we were able to chat and enjoy ourselves a little before the wedding. Not to mention, Jenn the Bride was absolutely stunning!!! Her makeup and hair was flawless! We were very happy with the service and the professionalism we received. I don't normally write reviews but I thought considering the short notice, the service and our satisfaction... this one warranted one. I love New Orleans, and if I'm ever back for ANY special occassion... I wouldn't hesitate to call Natalie in a heartbeat. Natalie started stying my hair before she opened her new salon. I won't let anyone else touch my hair. Most of my friends and family are moving over to her because of her expertise with color and her ability to find the right style for you. I have also had an opportunity to utilize her services for event makeup. My husband and I live in Chicago but married June 20, 2008 in New Orleans. I choose Natalie for my bridal hair and makeup based on citysearch reviews. I am SO appreciative that I did! Natalie was very professional from the start; returning my emails promptly and scheduling our trial appointment immediately. She was a dream to work with for an out of town bride! From the moment I sat down in her salon, Natalie had great communication and listening skills ensuring that my wedding day would be everything I dreamed of. She is the most talented make up and hair artist I have ever been to see. She matched my bridal hair and makeup perfectly to my dress AND my personality! I have never felt so beautiful in all my life. Natalie also did the hair and make up for my bridal party - everyone was GORGEOUS! I was complimented by everyone at the wedding including the wedding coordinator and my photographer - both can't wait to visit Natalie themselves! Natalie's shop was easy to find and to park. Her prices are VERY reasonable. Personally, I would have paid more for such talented, personalized, and profesional services. She is better than anyone I have ever seen in Chicago! Natalie did a wonderful job with my hair for my wedding day. I live in Texas but was getting married in New Orleans and did not have a stylist. She was recommended to me, and I'm so glad to have found her! I had an idea of what I wanted my hair to look like, and Natalie was great at listening to my suggestions and making sure I was completely happy with the look. I have curly hair, but it is pretty thin and fine, so I wanted to use a hair piece to add thickness, but didn't want anyone to be able to tell. Natalie was great working with the piece, and she blended it beautifully. I loved it and got a ton of complements! Everyone kept coming up and telling me how much they loved my hair and how my stylist did a fantastic job. I can't thank Natalie enough for the great job she did! more

Oh My Gosh! I love my Hair! I am very picky about my hair and finding a great hair stylist is really difficult. My last hairstylist- I followed from shop to shop but Texas is just too far to go since I moved to New Orleans. I am so glad I happen to come across this hair salon. Natalie has true talent. I just had the best haircut of my life at Glamour Therapy! I have always had trouble with a style that could actually hold its look for more than 2 hours because of my fine hair. Natalie took the time to listen to my past experiences and asked me if she could recommend something completely new. Natalie cut my hair with beautiful layers all over. The effect is thicker hair with the apperarance of the same length. I now hot iron each layer of my hair (never thought I would touch a hot iron with fine straight hair), which gives it a beautiful straight hair look that is very contemporary, yet adds a touch of fullness I have never experienced. Natalie was great in recommending products too! I asked if I could come back for styling techniques if I needed further help and of course she said anytime. She really wanted me to know how to style my hair to look as great as it did walking out of the salon. Thank you Natalie! Pros: Individual Treatment Cons: no nails more
