Dr. Lawson is amazing. He is caring, thoughtful and smart with animals. His care for our dog who is a pound puppy going on 17 years old has improved his life dramatically. From the food, treatment, and recovering Bud's health from a horrible sickness. We will always and continue to take Bud and all our animals to Dr. Lawson. more

Competent, Compassionate and Generous! 8/25/2011

Dr. Lawson and the folks at glacier Animal Hospital are simply amazing. My wife and I have four older dogs, and have lived in various cities around the country. Needless to say we have had our fair share of experiences with veterinary offices. Glacier Animal Hospital, and Dr. Lawson especially, stand out as the best we have ever encountered. Their compassion, creativity, competence and generosity is unparalleled. We trust them implicitly and are rewarded with a level of care that is truly rare and special. more

parvo--- when your desperate to save your childs puppies life, a little chihuahua, that meant the world to my 10 yr old daughter, there`s not much a parent wouldn`t do.,,but when it`s a 2 days after christmas ,and we`re broke.YOUR office tells me,I have to have $300.deposit just to bring him in. I`m not stupid, it doesn`t cost close to that to heal parvo, I could`ve done it myself ,had i access to some vet materials, but NO, your office is not that friendly or helping.... let his 10 yr old daughter watch her puppy die in her arms and get a good taste ........O BUT IT`S OUR POLICY more

Dr Lawson Rocks! 2/24/2010

While in Atlanta, Dr lawson was our vet. He was absolutely the best vet I have ever met. With three (now Four) active and spirited dogs, you always need a vet. He is patient, kind, giving and truly loves animals. Our Boxer General, has a severe hip displasia, a rare nerve disorder and a host of other strange ailments. If it were not for Dr Lawson and his throughness, I am not sure General would be turning 12 in April. thanks Dr lawson. If you want a vet that will call you and talk you through anything, he is definitely the man. Miss you Doctor Lawson! Gen Banshee, Girlfriend and napoleons mom! more

DR. MARK LAWSON IS THE BEST! 8/5/2009

I ran across this posting by accident. Dr. Lawson took care of our two standard poodles when he was practicing in Atlanta. He is amazing and very much missed! more

Dr. Lawson is the BEST!!! 7/9/2009

While I live in Atlanta, Georgia, Mark Lawson was my vet here until he bought Glacier Animal Hospital. He is by far the best vet in the world and one of the nicest people I have ever known. Our loss is your gain. I first met him when my now 13 year old dachshund was about 3 weeks old. He is the only vet I spoke with that was able to dignosis her problem which historically would cause death within a few weeks. He researched and contacted experts and here we are 13 years later. I love Dr. Lawson!!! more

Helpful and friendly staff 5/11/2009

Although I take my dogs and cats here for regular check ups/vaccinations I also recently used them for an emergency. Dr Smiley was already there by the time I arrived. What I really appreciate is that they are all very caring towards your animal (vet, vet techs and receptionists). My cat Lucy is doing very well and am very happy with their emergency service.\r \r I have dogs who have bitten previous vets and they did not even growl at Dr. Smiley, he takes his time to get to know the animals and waits until they are comfortable with him. The vet techs did not even try to muzzle the dogs even with their history as they said that it would just make them more nervous.\r \r Just wonderful service all around more

terrific clinic! 3/20/2009

My Great Pyrenees had a medical emergency, and her regular vet was out of town. So I called Glacier Animal Hospital, and they got her in right away, had to perform a procedure which required anesthesia, and even apologized for having to make me wait 15 minutes! The staff was warm, caring, and very understanding, and Dr. Smiley took the time to answer all my questions. This is a great clinic, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who values small-town friendliness and personal service. Keep up the good work, you all! And thank you. more

Awesome Vet! 12/12/2008

This is a wonderful vet clinic! Mark Lawson, the owner and lead veterinarian, is about as skilled as you can get. He is extremely outgoing and friendly and explains everything. His bedside manner is as good as it gets. His wife Laura, the office manager, is just a super person also. You cannot go wrong by taking your pets here. They'll get the best care possible. And you'll have great peace of mind knowing they're being taken care of by this great clinic. more
