Giavannis Pizza and Pasta in Orcutt California is an Italian style eatery which serves pizza and pasta. They also serve salads and sandwiches. The pizza which is way overpriced, at $21 for a large 1 topping pizza is a poor value although it tastes decent. I recommend Klondike Pizza for their superior atmosphere, cheaper prices and better pizza. Giavanni's 8" roast beef sandwich which is small in comparison to a Quizno's or Subway 12" sub is way overpriced at $8 a pop and only comes with a tiny bag of Lay's potato chips. Definitely not worth the money especially when you can get a superior sandwich that is much larger with many more toppings to choose from for only $5 at Subway. Giavannis currently offers only tomatoes and lettuce for their sandwich toppings. Giavanni's also serves antipasto and regular garden salads. With no salad bar and limited salad toppings, a garden salad that consists of only 3 oz of iceberg lettuce a small amount of cheese and only half of a tomato slice is also ridiculously overpriced at $5. Currently the only dressing options are ranch and Italian with no croutons to boot. For the same price, you can get the all-you-can eat salad bar at Round Table Pizza which has every salad topping you can imagine, baby spinach, romaine lettuce, sunflower seeds, hard boiled eggs, real bacon bits and about 23 other choices is where I go when want to woof down a good salad. Round Table also makes their ranch from scratch daily. The last time I ate at Giavanni's the pizza was cold and when I made a complaint to the big fat manager, he was rude to my wife and refused to make us another pizza. My son also lost his quarters in the arcade games and he refused to refund his money. I will never go back there again. We recently had our sons football party at Round table and found that the service, staff and the product are a greater value and far superior in almost every aspect. Overall we would have to rate Giavanni's a 1 out of 5 stars and that's being generous.
