Since I've been getting my hair done at the Garden Salon, strangers have stopped me to ask who my stylist is, and at least one of those strangers is now regular customer at the salon. My boss liked my hair so much that she goes to the Garden Salon now too! I remind myself of this when I'm feeling poor and I need to get my hair done. It's pricey (for people in my salary range), but it's well worth it. The owner, Sandra, is also the smartest hair stylist I've ever had, which means I enjoy talking to her while I'm getting those time-consuming highlights done. And she has good taste: check out the clothing and jewelry she sells in the little salon shop.
