This was our second visit to this eatery located on the boardwalk in John's Pass. Casual and family friendly. Imbues the flavor of a seaside fishing village which we can relate to coming from Maine. Fish is very fresh, we loved the snapper, and well presented. The corn fritters are fantastic.Staff is friendly and attentive. \r Be sure to splurge and have the key lime pie! more

Ordered fisherman's platter... My husband and I shared this and we were both FULL! The seafood was fresh, hot, crisp. Cooked to perfection. Was very satisfied with our choice. We got there not long before they closed for the evening, but they did not seem to mind and still served great food. Our waitress was very nice and assisted us in our selection. more

We had a fantastic dinner at the Friendly Fisherman - the cocktails were also good. Try the shrimp/scallops platter - it was outstanding! The service was very good, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. more

Loved the broiled seafood platter. Prices are reasonable and waitress was very helpful. As a single diner, this was a great place with a view of the water and for people watching, while I am eating. more

Clean great food and great service 7/29/2011

I had the blackened salmon salad and my husband had the fish and chips, both were excellent. Our server (Nicole) was responsive to every need. We ate there on a Monday and it was not busy. We give this place 4 thumbs up based on our experience, and we do not usually rate restaurants so highly. Prices did not seem out of line for the quality of the (always) fresh seafood. Dining area and rest rooms were well maintained. more
