Fort Bend Taxi

HORRIBLE. ..HORRIBLE. .. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. .\r I live in Stafford, and I needed to exchange a car battery at Napa auto parts in stafford. I only called them because they were in my area. A man with an African dialect answered the phone. I told him where I lived and where I needed to go and he just lost it. He literally said ""YOU LAZY MAN. I AM NOT SENDING A CAB JUST FOR YOU TO GO LESS THAN 1 MILE. GO WALK TO NAPA. YOU SOUND LIKE YOU NEED THE EXERCISE"". I left out all of the curse words that he used. I would not use them or recommend using them ever. It is no coincidence that ther are a lot of bad reviewz for them. I understand that my trip was sort of short, But I was paying for the service. The trip cost me $14.00 with Yellow cab, and I received great customer sevice. My advice would be to just use yellow cab. You don't have to worry about horrible customer service, and you can get to your destination without harm or feeling like you paying for\r service is inconveniencing a service provider. more

What a horrible company to go thru! Most unprofessional company I've ever delt with! The older bald guy with the scratchy voice is a complete ASS!!!! Was not helpful in any way shape or form! He got very loud and angry on the phone! When I tried to explain where and how to get to where I was he got very disrespectful with me! I even gave the address, land marks and directions to where I was and after so much of being cut off and interrupted in the middle of my sentence I finally hung up! Worst customer service EVER!!!! First of all, I dont know why some of these critics are giving Fort Bend Cab bad reviews. I have been using these guys forever. Even my co-workers ride with FBT. We all ride for the price of one and these guys are always on time if not early. Very, very realiable and ALL the drivers are great! more

This company is the absolute worse. Never took a cab before and needed a ride from work. We called the nite before and got the fare rates. But when my fiance got in the car and barely left the parking lot the fare/meter was over $3.00. Our home is less than 10 miles away and before he got halfway home the fair was already at 15.00. When we called the night before we were advised that they charge a $2.50 fare plus $1.68 per mile which made the total trip ""supposedly"" be $18.80 if they were a legit cab company. Now I may not know much about cabs but I know simple math. We live LESS than 10 miles away and the meter was ""jumping"" as the cab driver said!!! WTF!!!! Then i personally called the owner or the person who dispatches and answers the call and he was a MEAN, RUDE, SOB!!!!! Not professional at all. No customer skills whatsoever!!!! Had the audacity to tell me I know nothing about cabs!! DUH!! That's why I'm calling. But I do know how to add!!! I have never did a review before but I MUST warn people about this company!!! DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!!! my next review is going to the Better Buisness Bureau! That should let you know how bad this experience has been!! I am starting to believe this is just someone from home with a car/van giving people over priced rides and bad attitudes!! more

I've been using Fort Bend Taxi for over 10 years and these guys are excellent. I've never been picked up in a truck, this company only has vans, towncars and cabs. But anyway, I recommend Fort Bend Taxi to anyone in the Fort Bend area needing transportation. Everytime I go to the airport they are on time. I've never missed a flight and Im confident I wont. I just needed to get to the airport but apparently I was asking too much for this psycho cab driver. He picked me up in a small truck and didn't get out to help with the bags. Good thing it was not raining...they had to go in the dirty bed of the truck. I asked where the meter was and he yelled at me a told me it was on the floor where it should be. After being cursed at and told he didn't care if we got to the airport we decided to get out of the cab and call another ride. Then he demanded $4.80 and we didn't even drive a mile down the road. I was so scared when I tried to get out of the back seat and the door was locked and I could not unlock it....like a horror movie. Now if I could just figure out who to officially file a complaint with...this guy should not be in business. Don't get in the truck with Ray...he has anger issues. The company name sound professional, but don't be fooled. I am sure that the first two reviews were not from anyone he picked up. If you are a woman traveling alone...DO NOT GET IN THE CAB....only use this service if you have no other option and you are traveling with a man. This guy did not have any permits posted and he never actually turned on the meter...my mom checked before she got out. I can't think of anything good to say about this guy except that we made it out unharmed... Lucky for us my husband was still close by and I called him on my cell phone. Who knows what would have happened if he was not able to pull over and get us. This was at 5:30 am and there were not many cars on the road and we pulled over onto a very dark street and none of the businesses were open yet. Like I said....VERY SCARY! Always check for posted permits on the window...don't get in if you don't see them. I made that mistake and put my mom and myself in danger...I could have been safer hitch hiking to the airport that morning. Never again...I would rather miss my flight! Pros: I am still alive! WOW!! I would recommend Fort Bend Taxi to anyone. The ride was smooth, quick, and the car was very clean. The driver showed up early and got my family and I to the airport in no time.
