If you are just looking for a futon that they happen to have in stock, then this place is fine. BUT if you need to order furniture, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. They will lie to you about how long it takes then deny it later. I ordered furniture and it arrived 2 months after they told me it would. They refused to give me a refund after a month. At least the salespeople felt bad but Richard, the owner, was completely unapologetic and became angry and actually raised his voice at me and accused me of treating his employees badly!! For asking them where my stuff was that I paid $5k for!!! Do yourself a favor, do not buy furniture here. more

Cheapest futons in town! I shopped Hadley, Amherst and Springfield and still found Fly By Night to be the best deal on a futon and frame anywhere. Their showroom is equipped for thorough testing which is always encouraged. The staff was very informative but didn't feel like sleazy car salesmen like many of the other places. Fly By Night also carries many other categories of stylish home furnishings to make your abode a home. more

Over the years Fly By Night has grown to become Western Massachusetts' leading independent furniture store, with a 24,000 sq. ft showroom in downtown Northampton. While we still have the best futon lineup in New England, our showroom has grown to include beautiful fabric & leather upholstery, natural mattresses, American-made hardwood bedroom and dining and much more.
