My husband and I went to Fish Furniture in Mayfield to shop for a mattress and a bedroom set for our 4 year old son.Kitty waited on us and was a pleasure to deal with. We decided on a very nice Stearns and Foster mattress, which we LOVE, and a Young America bedroom suite.I looked at several different furniture stores before entering Fish and found that they have the most reasonable prices and a wonderful selection. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they have FREE DELIVERY!!! Overall, a very good experience and I would highly recommend Fish to anyone that is looking for REAL furniture. more

I am a large fellow. I bought a Tempur-Pedic Rhapsody to help with my back problems.\r I love this mattress. I fall asleep watching TV with my bed inclined.\r I used to lay awake all night wondering when I can stand the pain enough to sleep, and now I fall asleep before I even finish my show!\r I went to the North Olmsted location and was greeted by a pretty little lady named Cheri. Amazing service!! I live 2,000 miles away. My daughter arrived in the Cleveland area a few days ago, for school, and needed twin bed rails. I emailed a number of stores in the area, and within minutes received a response from Dan Geller, the owner of Fish Furniture. He said he had what I needed, just a few dollars, and if my daughter came in, he would show her how to set it up. He said he and his wife were going to dinner that evening near the area where my daughter's apartment was located, and if I wanted, he and his wife would personally deliver the bed frame to her apartment. But my daughter went in, he showed her how to set it up, helped her load it into her little car, then showed her a map of the area and where she could find the other things she needed. She called me and was totally amazed at his kindness, and the kindness of his staff. Then, the truly wonderful part---she got to her apartment and locked her keys in her car. Dan was the only person I ""knew"" in Cleveland, and so I called him, and he told me exactly who to call and what to do. For an anxious father 2,000 miles away, how can I say ""thank you"" enough to a businessman who would do so much to assist on the basis of such a tiny sale. I wish I could publish this to the whole Cleveland area. People ought to be standing in line to patronize a business with such good people. Exceptional Service!!! We purchased a lift chair for my mom on a Saturday and realized by Sunday that we really couldn't wait until the scheduled delivery on Thursday. I called the store to request an earlier delivery and Dan Gellar, the owner, got on the phone to ask me when I needed it and to personally make sure it was delivered sooner. And sure enough, it showed up the exact time he said it would. We've purchased furniture from Fish Furniture for many years and will hopefully be purchasing from them for many more to come!\r …\r There is not one negative comment I can make about Dan and his company. The level of service, the quality of their products and even the delivery staff are just tremendous. Over the years, I have purchased couches and tables for my family room, my entire dining room set up as well as two bedroom sets from Fish. In fact, just today I had a brand new Tempurpedic mattress delivered to my house and I could not be happier. We all know that we can purchase the same products from many stores around, but what the other stores are missing is the customer service. I wouldn't shop from anyone else! more

My experience is the ABSOLUTE best.\r We bought a dinning room with a very big table. Even though the salesman advised us against it, we picked the one with 2 supports in the middle.\r After a couple weeks of using it we realized that the salesman was right. The traditional 4-leg support for this model was better.\r They took back the dining room without hesitation and 2 week later we had exactly what we wanted.\r Unbelievable commitment to customer satisfaction. more

"we are beginning formal complaint proceedings against Fish Furniture. We have been trying to resolve an issue with our new media center which has never been in 100% working condition since the day it was delivered. We have adjusted our schedule two times to be home during the service window they set up with us only to be told this last time by the repair person that it cannot be repaired. Our salesperson John and manager Ray today "generously" offered to "allow" us to a) take a store credit in the amount of our original purchase or b) pay an EXTRA $500 or $2000 for either of the alternate selections they could "generously" offer to us- neither of which was satisfactory or matched our needs; ordering another same model is not an option they said because it is discontinued. When we agreed to meet halfway on the extra $500 on one of the replacement offerings since it was not big enough to fill our alcove and would require additional purchases to fill in the spaces on each side, John more

Fish had the furniture line, that I had seen online, for a decent price. They were able to come down and apply a coupon to meet our price. Free on time delivery was a bonus. more

Fish Furniture has been in business for 80 years or so. My mom and dad got some of their furniture there and now they have remodeled the showroom and it's huge. A beautiful glass fronted building that showcases the beautiful interiors. They offer brand names, like Lane and Broyhill. Everything you need to furnish your home, you can find here. It's quality furniture that will last for generations. The prices are great for solid wood furniture. You will love this store. more
