Firestone Complete Auto Care

I purchased a set of Bridgestone Dueler HTs from this store. Immediately after installation, the car felt unsafe, wouldn't track straight and had a high-speed shimmy. I returned to the store to attempt a correction (balancing and alignment) with no resolution. I then took the vehicle to the Prosper store to seek help. But again after another balance and alignment check, the problem was still present. The Prosper store told me that I must have a bent rim. These Bridgestone tires lasted only 38,429 miles (a little over 1/2 of the 65K warranty) and were replaced this weekend by Toyota with Michelins. The car now feels very secure, tracks perfectly straight and has no shimmy. It is now obvious the problem was with the tire(s) and not a ""bent rim"" or some other reason. more

My husband went there to change the power steering pump and the first visit they change it. Second week that they change the pump it still the same.So my husband called the manager Mike to let them know that we are not happy of the service they put and it is still on the warranty,manager Mike says to come back and they will change it to a new pump. more

I have been taking all three of my family cars to this shop for over a couple of years. Mark the store manager is great!!! The sales staff are friendly and not pushy. Very hard to find a shop with staff you trust, when you find one like this you have to tell everyone. Con Artists???? HA! Couldnt be further from the truth. more

had my truck in and out very quickly! didn't try to sell me anything extra! friendly staff. pretty clean for being a shop. Pros: clean restroooms! Cons: nothing to entertain children while you wait more

We took our car to the shop for a battery test, and the mechanics were trying to convince us to make $700 in repairs by the time we left. First of all, they tried to make us pay an exorbitant amount for a new car battery. When we declined and left to get a new battery on our own, they attempted to convince us that our brakes were in such bad shape that we were a road hazard and that our engine would die within weeks if we did not fix an oil leak. They even put the car on the lift and removed our brake pads without us knowing and then brought us to the car to demonstrate how our brakes were metal on metal. Thankfully, they put the brake pads back before we took the car, and a trusted mechanic told us that the brakes were in good shape. I am not a confrontational person, but I called them to ensure them that we nor anyone else we know will ever be using their business again. Early last year, I was experiencing brake issues with my car. The car was only 5 years old and I had never really had many problems with it before then. The brakes were grinding and making terrible noises so I began the search for an automotive service that could help me. I finally chose Firestone on Eldorado Parkway in McKinney and I am so happy with my decision. The problem ended up being a manufacturer's defect that had just reared it's ugly and noisy head! The price of the job unfortunately was quite expensive, but they shopped around price quotes for me to ensure that I was not being ripped off. The quality of work was fantastic and I have not had any problems since. They even threw in a coupon for me to help ease the blow to my pocket book. I would recommend this particular Firestone location to any in the area looking for friendly and informative mechanics who are there to help you first and foremost. more
