Pizza with Atmosphere 9/16/2007

I've tried several pizza restaurants in town and find this one to rate towards the top. Although it may be priced higher then most they offer different varieties of toppings. Atmosphere is what makes the Fire Place.\r Service has been average although this isn't a high end restaurant where you should even expect that. We've never had to wait for seating or to be served and we've always felt welcomed. Pros: good food and variety of beverages more

decent martini's, poor service 2/22/2007

Like our stop at 25 Center Street, this place was wretched. The bar tenders were too busy with other things, i.e particular males, to pay attention to other customers. We came here for a few drinks after dinner, and had no idea that they were just as awful with customer service. Maybe there is just a curse surrounding Center Street. Great bar 1/12/2007

Went to this place a couple weeks ago and its the best bar around. Great selection of tap beer, TVs everywhere, Golden Tee, Internet Jukebox, and great bartenders. My friends and I had a blast. more

Best Pizza anywhere, great customer service, amazing atmosphere 1/12/2007

I went down to the Fire Place with my family to get dinner one Friday night and the place was amazing. It was busy but they were able to get us seated quickly and our food out to us in a timely manner. The atmosphere was amazing - rustic, warm, and very comfortable. We got wings (honey glazed) and pizza (the Brooklyn Bridge) and it was out of this world. The waitress was very friendly and very attentive. The restaurant is located in downtown Southington on a street full of shops and restaurants (a beautiful area) we sat up in the window with a great view of the street and the people passing by. They have a full bar with personal TVs at ever table and a beautiful restaurant area which my kids loved. I would highly recommend this place to any pizza lover and anyone who is looking for a great night out. Pros: Pizza that is out of this world, 18 beers on tap and a great wine selection more
