Figo Ristorante

Hoping for a nice evening out and what we got was Figo. It seems like it would a good place to go for a nice quiet meal but it's not...at all. We sat less a foot away from another couple. It was hard to really talk about anything without feeling like they were listening to every word. The service was poor. Rushed and sweaty servers who don't care much about the quality of your evening. The food. Poor and lousy. Heavy, sticky, tasteless. There was more than 3/4 of the food left in our plates and didn't ask for doggie bags. Honestly, the dessert might have been the best. $90+ dollars for two people was ridiculous for how lousy the entire experience was for us. Do not recommend it at all. Wish I could get my money back. Ate here on a Saturday night with 5 other people. Not very crowded for a Saturday. Maybe the economy is bad. Ordered filet and potatoes - cold as ice. Wifes order of lamb chops never arrived. She waited 20 minutes. I swear the waitress was in the bathroom doing coke. Showed up infrequently with a sort of bi-polar attitude. One of the other people at the table ordered tilipia. Sorry, out of it. Another of the party ordered cappacino. Sorry, the machine doesn't work. They added an 18% tip for the party of SIX. With horrible service, a gift for the coke-fiend. I would rather chew on my toenails than eat at this incredibly bad restaurant. No really. I would. The sooner this garbage dump goes out of business, the better. Very nice atmosphere. A little pricey for the small size portions, although they are quite good. Formerly the Glen Ellyn Brewery and they removed the large brewing tanks in the windows and opened it up visually. large separate bar area, cool design.
