We went to this dentist office for about 8 years. Had routine cleanings every 6 months. At the last cleaning, they said my 9 year old son had one small cavity. They gave me a treatment plan for a total of $443.00! The office manager, Robert Levin, said they would not accept my insurance to cover any of the services needed. According to my insurance company one small cavity should have cost $12.00. Even more alarming, I received a second opinion from another dentist and he said my son had no cavities and didn't require any work at all! FamilyCare Dental was ready and willing to drill into a 9 year old childs' perfectly good teeth. We have filed a complaint with the California Dental Board.
