If you give messurements for 4 rooms of carpet and give messurements for capet on the garden tub, don't you think that you would want the carpet installed on the garden tub also? ...

All the bad reviews have something in common....they're all women. They sit around all day and think of stuff to complain about. I've delt with Evan's MANY times over the years and have had nothing but good service and great prices every time. Scott is top notch, and a business doesn't stay in business as long as they have without being great at what they do. \r \r Don't believe a word of the bad reviews here (probably the kind of women who are never satisfied with anything, from dining establishments to public parks). These guys are excellent. more

Don't believe everything you read. There are legimate sites where people are not allowed to slander for any reason and do so anonymously and unjustly. I value the Better Business Bureau that actually investigates all accusations against business owners. The BBB gives business owners a fair chance to reply before posting on line. VERY DISAPOINTED! 11/29/2010

If you give messurements for 4 rooms of carpet and give messurements for capet on the garden tub, don't you think that you would want the carpet installed on the garden tub also? Well aparently not! And when I called to at least make sure the carpet was included in the price I paid for just the carpet (not the installation) he kept telling me he didn't know anything about the garden tub. And then had the nerve to ask if he could speak to my husband, like a woman doesn't know what she is talking about. When I finally got him to understand I wanted to know about the carpet and not the installation, he said yes I did pay for the carpet for the garden tub but not the installation. So he messed up by not adding in the price for the installation of the garden tub carpet. Which by the way they subcontract the work out to install. Who would pay for carpet for a garden tub & not want it in the installation price? I am very disapointed! more

Amen to Jessica S. The story is so much the same it is scary. Amanda was so knowledgeable and pleasant, she was the main reason I purchased from them. After they got my 50% deposit, which was thousands of dollars the nightmare began. Lost material, damaged material, my appliances had to be canceled twice, installer finally shows up with the material but no prep material or tools, then when he does come back to install it he installs is short of the agreed upon point and there are literally dozens of lumps from debris he left under it, cancel the appliances again, Then when he comes back and takes it up to clean out the debris and puts it back down it has an indentation and fold line. Oh don't worry about it they will disappear in a week or two, you can go ahead in 4 days and put your baseboards in. Of course since it is cut too short now Amanda says there is not enough carpet because of the way she calculated the room for only 24 feet not 24 feet 4.5 inches. It only got worse, the more

A pleasant experience when we were shopping for floors. They seemed knowledgeable. Amanda was very helpful and was the main reason we decided to go with Evan's. Then, once we had told them we had decided to get floors through them, it was a terrible experience. We were handed over to the owner Joe, who obviously knows nothing about customer service. He told me the cost of the floors was so high because they had to pay for the gas for people to drive out and do 'free' estimates. That's not really free then ,is it? Then once the installers came, they promised they'd be done by the end of the week. We even moved all of the furniture out ourselves (even though we were paying them to move it) to speed up the process. In the middle of the week, we noticed that their weren't enough floors...we mentioned it to the installer and he told us not to worrry, that he just wouldn't do closets. I told him that the estimate included closets and he would indeed be doing closets. It wasn't unt more
