Avoid this place! \r \r Located on the second floor the small and dark room does not look like a Cosmetic Office. Their Patient Testimonials page starts with ""Everyone at Essential Aesthetics was helpful and professional. I would recommend it to others…” \r In reality this place is a trap! Their main objective is money. They use different techniques to rip off the clients using Living Social, Groupon and others. You buy first 20 units of BOTOX for a relatively cheap price. When you come to the office they try to sale you more and the price is doubled. When you question, they shut you down referencing DM and Cosmetic departments. If they sense you understand the products (BOTOX, Dysport, etc) they shut you down using inappropriate tone screaming at you. \r Elham Zarnegar should NOT have a license to practice. Very unprofessional! If nothing works she shoves into your face the paperwork that you signed 2 mins ago.\r I have to admit that I feel sorry for the stuff in the office. They try to do their best to survive.\r \r I would never come back and I would not recommend this place. \r \r Living Social, Groupon and others should do better job checking the vendors before posting their adds.\r more

am so glad I went with my gut feelings and bought the Groupon coupon Feb after reading the reviews! The reviews were very interesting mostley 5 or 1 star! If the bussiness is soso then mostly 2 or 3! I am writingmy review after 3 of the 6 laser treatments I bought. 2 times I got my treatment within 5 minutes the 3rd time they were running 10 minutes late, staff and Eli apologized for that! Eli is very nice and friendly. She answered all my questions patientley. 1st treatment Eli started with medium doze and went up and saw how much I can take.It was not hard and with 3 treatments I have 70 percent less hair! I am thrilled. Looking forward for the 100 percent. will keep you posted. more

I found Ellie through Groupon and my overall experience has been fantastic. I specifically had my facial and neck hair removed and I'm just finishing up my last few treatments and I'm working to get to the point where I don't have to shave my face anymore. The cost is incredibly reasonable (if not blatantly the cheapest) compared to anything in the bay area. I'll be going back to Ellie for all of my touchups and I strongly trust her with my skin. I will say that the Palomar treatment is more painful than I would have expected, however the pain is gone by the time you leave the office and to be fair, I am removing hair on my face that is incredibly thick and coarse. A strong recommendation. more

If you want see results and can tolerate your normal dental chair pain, this is the place to go to get rid of those unwanted hair! Basically it boils down to the machine/technology they employ, which is quite effective. I had my underarm area treated here with a Groupon deal, thus reducing the initial cost, after 3-4 times, the hair that bothered me for years are mostly gone. You will need to go back for ""touchup"" treatments once in a while, since the hair reduction is probably 70-80% after initial 3-4 treatments. The pricing is very reasonable here and the results are great. Don't go in expect any of those soothing music, spa like ambiances though, this is not a spa and they operate more like a medical office, which is fine for me. I'd rather see results than to pay for the fluff. more

I had Botox treatment , and I was very happy with the result. She is warm and friendly and really listens.\r I will go back again. more

Ellie is extremely pushy. She tries to sell you much more than you came in for. I've had Botox before and have to say there are much better places out there. This business seems to have lots of Groupons - must not be able to keep their clients. I'm one of them! more

I wish I had read reviews before I went! I went in for fillers that Ellie had sold me on during a consultation. She had told me 2 vials would be perfect. This was a huge splurge for me as I had saved for over a year for this. Once I got to the appointment, Ellie kept trying to sell me more syringes saying that 2 would not be enough. I told her that's all I could afford right now. She ended up putting all of the filler in 2 places on my face so I now have 2 unnatural looking bumps on my face. Instead of spreading the filler out to look natural, When I talked to her about it she said I would need more filler to make it look right. She also encouraged me to massage the 2 lumps so they would go down. I asked for some of my money back and was told that they couldn't refund money after the service was performed - no accountability! Since then I have been told that she has lots of complaints against her. What a huge disappointment. Definitely a used car sales approach to making more money. more

This medical office is great!!!! I got there for a hair laser removal, being scared for the first time. But they made me feel comfortable, Ellie explain to me the process of the treatment, being very gentle and careful with my skin. Very good job and I can see already results.I would recomend her to everyone. more

I don't even know where to begin. i've had plenty of laser treatments in Washington and Florida and I know what a laser treatment is supposed to be like. I moved to SF and wanted to find a new place. I can't believe people like Elham would take advantage of their clients like this. She did a very poor, rushed, job in my face and underarm areas, totally missed spots and when I told her about it, she mentioned ""I had gotten a good deal and that she would cover the those missed areas during the next session"". It was terrible. I told her I was disappointed with her job, and after going back and forth showing her the missed spots, she *kicked me out of her office and told me not to come to the clinic again!!!* She could have had a bad day, but what she did was totally unprofessional! This lady has a terrible temper. If you go, make sure she does a thorough job. It's your money. more

Essential Aesthetic has done wonders for me. I have a very red face and after speaking with Ellie she told me there is a laser treatment that can remove the redness from my face. After one session with Ellie at Essential Aesthetics I can feel and see the difference in my face. I'm so happy with the results of this treatment and would suggest it to anyone. My mom recieved 3 sessions of laser treatment to remove her acne scars and tighten her face. She looks better than ever! Her confidence has taken a whole new turn. No Doubt after one laser treatment the rough raised brown spots on my face was gone, my face became smooth. The appearance of my face was better than ever before. I really recommend Elli if you want to do any kind of\r Skin care or injections. I am a realtor and I really care how I look, so she has done few times lips and cheeks enhancement, and she did a great job for me. I had it done few injections with different doctor, but the results I have gotten from her work it was amazing.\r She listens to you carefully, then gives you her opinion not like other places that they just rush to get your money and they do not care if you are happy with their work or not.\r If you want to pay a reasonable price, at the same time get a great result and the best customer service just go to her.
