Over the course of many years, Eric has handled legal issues for me which, to varying degrees, all involved treatment of me by defendants that, in addition to being wrong, also caused me great emotional harm. At times I really felt in crisis. Not only did Eric earn my trust in his ability as an attorney to resolve the cases, he did so in a manner that left no doubt in my mind that he was primarily motivated by genuine concern for which course of action would be in my own best interest. He always listened patiently, answered every question I had, and was prompt in addressing every concern I expressed. \r
Being a litigant has a way of peripherally affecting many aspects of a persons life. Going to court is not fun or easy. It can be frustrating at times. When I raised some of these issues with Eric — be they job related, financial, or psychological — he was very honest with me about the extent to which he could help me, was empathetic, and always had a constructive suggestion or someone he could refer me to so that my life could move in a positive direction. At times when I had to make decisions, I felt no pressure from him. He prepared me for things I had to do, i.e. give deposition testimony, when I didn’t know what to expect. When I was confused about what choices to make and insisted on his advice, not only could he voice an honest opinion, but he could also articulate why he felt the way he did. This made me comfortable listening to him because I was able to compare and contrast the context of his reasoning and experience with my own. This gave me a better sense of perspective at a time when it was easy to feel overwhelmed. I would strongly recommend Eric as an attorney to anybody who needed one, and I would not hesitate to use his services again in the future.\r
Thanks for being an inspiration to me! Although the legal profession has, for many people, a stereotypical reputation of being dishonest and greedy, you really helped me in ways that no one else could at the time! Ciao!
Pros: Honest, Empathetic, Genuinely concerned
